Deca dosage?

If I run deca at a dose of say 400mg a week, would it be better if I split the dose up in half 2x's a week, or I should stay with one shot a week? Which one is more effective?

IMO, it doesnt matter how you do it. When I run deca I do once every 6days. So since your running 400mgs you would inject that every 6 days. No need to stick yourself twice a week when you can do it once.

ok what if I'm running 3 deca a week each at 200mg per shot (2ml shot) what you do then,,,,,,, I've just been doing mon wed and sat....

Long Ester

The decanoate ester is a long ester (10 carbons), therefore you only need to inject it once a week. However, you should be using a long acting Test as a base and not doing a Deca only cycle. Deca by itself is very suppressive.

yea you could get by with one shot a week for the deca, i too would run some kind of test in there with the deca

yah but it looks like his deca is 100mg/ml once a week at 4ml in one shot is a no no---this is his statement...ok what if I'm running 3 deca a week each at 200mg per shot (2ml shot) so then for a once a week dosage thats 4ml... I think we should read his posts carefully before saying to do it all in one shot

with deca and test together i have read conflicting posts on the ratio. Should it be 1 deca 300mg/ml to 3 test 200mg/ml. so 300mg D to 600mg T? I know there isn't just one way to look at it. BB

i have always heard and have followed a minimum of 2/1 test/deca ratio, but i prefer 3/1 ratio so 400mgs deca per wk would go with 1200mgs test per wk. or for the 2/1 400 per week with 800mg test per wk. it helps to balance out the dreaded deca dick and it complements each other as such imo

That is a lot of test to balance out 400mg of deca. I have run 600mg of test for 400mg of deca and had no problems at all.

if you need 1200mgs of test a week to grow you have the genetics of a rotten tomato. bad advice..

That's insane. No one here needs 1600 mg gear a week. If you do, your diet and or training must really suck.

I ran a deca cycle (300mg ew) and took 100 mg ew of an injectable proviron ester and had no problems with deca dick at all. A maintenance amount of test should be just fine; around 150 mg ew if all you want is to avoid impotence. If test is to be a real part of the cycle then run it at reasonable dosages of 400 to 500 mg ew.
