serostim & bacteriostatic water

i need everyones opinion on using serostim w/ bact. water. my buddy gets kits pretty cheap, but i have always heard serostim is active for only 24hrs no matter what you mix it with... he states that his friend the pharmicist says that the bact. water allows it to be active for 14 days. i trust my friend, but i would like to ask some experts!! i've used nutropin but it is expensive!!

YOu r friend is correct.....when mixed w/ BW it will stay active for about 14 days

The water that comes with Serostim, is just sterile water, not bacteriostatic, thats why it will only hold for 24 hrs

Its the only way it can be used properly, unless you plan on using 18iu a day

what do you think about taking 4iu 2 days on 1 off... or 3 iu/day 5days on 2 off

3iu, 5 on and 2 off is fine

break the doses up through the day

if you dont know how to get the concentration to 1iu per 10 units just lemme know

how do you do get 1iu per 10 units, using 6mg serostim?? 7mg ?? thanks

use a U100 slin pin, 1ml capacity- 29g- 1/2"(scored from 10-100)
Then add 180 units of water(using the slin pin to measure), this way it will break down to 1 iu per 10units on the pin

If you just add 1ml of water, you will get 1.8iu per 10

is a v100 slin-pin availible at any pharmacy?? i assume it is different than reg insulin sticks... it is legal to buy here

Yes you can get them anywhere, both BD and Terumo make them
BD is much better though...just ask for a slin pin with a 1ml capacity, its the only way that dosing will work

ok thanks for the help..one last question for now: what angle do you inject subcu... some inject into their fat , others inject in between the skin and fat so it leaves a little welt?? what do you recommend?

you can do either or, just rotate sites so you dont start getting localized areas of excess fat depletion
