  • Maybe an Answer for this?

If I have a 20ml bottle of test suspension 100mg/ml, and the bottle says every ml has .01g of BA. Does that mean that there is 2ml of BA in the entire 20ml Bottle?

    20 times .01 = .2

your whole bottle only has 2 grams of test in it then divide .01 by 2 and your answer is 5% ba I think my math is right

Shibby you are multiply two diff types of numbers u have to get them all to an equal as in converting to total grams not grams x ml's

Well I still knew his math was wrong :D and .01 divided by 2 is .005 which would be .5%

I'm a physics guy not chem but I I have an extensive math background
Shibby-its late :) Yah i read the post and knew something was wrong, in math you first have to convert to like terms then break down to lowest parts and run the numbers thru cancelling all applicable designators to make sure at the end what u wanted designation wise(ml's grams or whatever) is what u wanted to know in the first place

This is where my chem knowledge sux do suspensions require less ba since the chem is suspended and not fully disolved

no ure not .5% ba is what I got too after I used .01g instead of .1 gram, wow only .5% ba that must be quite painless
Shibby- I say something isn't rite unless suspensions really use that little of ba

I have no idea. I'm not talking chem, I'm talking simple math because .01 times 1/2 is also .005

That's all I was noticing in the original problem, it looked that the dicimal was off.
