  • Am I Missing Something?

    Hey guys,

    Forgive me for this, but I have to ask... Actually, I have three questions:

    1.) I am taking 500mg of Test-E and 400mg of EQ a week... Both Supra. I have been on for about 7 weeks or so and I have got to say, I am not as impressed as I was with doing just 500mg of Sust a week. I know this may sound crazy, but I am not "feeling" it. You know what I mean? Now, I don't think this is bad stuff. At least I hope not. I have a good source from a GREAT guy, but am I missing something? I know it can take anywhere from 3 - 5 weeks for the Test-E to kick in, but I mean, come on! I am also taking 250iu of HCG twice a week with my shots

    2.) I am also wondering if I should take an anti-e or something along with with my cycle? I am noticing more vascularity, and certainly some strength gains, but I think I may be retaining some water. Any thoughts?

    3.) I was originally planning on only doing a 16-20 week cycle, but now I am thinking about going for a LONG one. Any experience and input would be great as far as doing a cycle like this for longer than 16-20 weeks.

    First y take an anti E if you aren't even having any significant gains... the estrogen will actually help you grow. As far as you not seeing any gains well are you expecting too much from the gear(as in unrealistic) and has your wgt gone up at all? You are seeing strength gains which is a positive sign but deca does take a long time to work. I sounds like you are making progress but not as much as you want
    if by week 12 you are not happy then I would say stop and try a diff manufacturer. I'm not a supra fan myself. Give us some stats like wgt increase or strenght increases

      I knew you would be the first one to respond, bro... Well, strength gains yes, but I haven't seen much of any weight gain. I am losing fat though, which is VERY nice. A lot of that has to do with my diet as well. VERY clean. Maybe I am expecting too much too soon. I don't know...

        cmon y would I be the first to respond? :) nah I try to help as much as possible, have u had good results with deca b4? also do u mind bumpin up the dosage? I am mainly interested in seeing where u were wgt wise by day 1 to now....
        THe strength gain is a positive sign that something good is going on make sure u up the cals to utilize the gear and get the rest
        I don't mind answering q's so its never a burden

          I was just playin' as far as being the first one to respond. You're a good guy and you seem to always want to help.

          Why are you saying Deca? I am using EQ. And yes, it is the first time for both. This is only my second cycle.

          I don't mind bumping the dosage at all! I would do that in a heart beat if necessary. I am pretty much at my same weight. I think I have gained maybe 2 or 3 pounds. Nothing to write home about. But the fat loss has something to do with that as well.

            ok eq is slow steady lean gains versus deca which is more sloppy gains imo, eq takes time work effectively if this is your 2nd cycle don't up the dosage I said deca cus your name haha, the eq up to 500 and see what happens the test keep at 500 but some don't report any gain on eq at 400, I've grown well at 400mg on eq but it was slow steady process, keep it up and keep at it, eq is slow solid muscle gain so it makes more sense. Just be realistic though, 2 cycles will not get u massive it takes time to put the pieces together to get that solid foundation. I only look at my progress as a year by year standard 10lbs is good anything more solid mass is great hell if you gain 10lbs a year for 5 yrs thats 50 solid lbs of muscle thats impressive don't let your short sights and hopes be something that keep u from being happy, in the future add some d-tabs so u get a fast start and quick gain on the cycle, mentally u will feel better with the increased wgt and strenth but physically u will have some extra size which will give u more motivation to keep it up. Just something to keep in mind
            Keep at it and don't get discouraged

                I'm a little confused as to what you are wanting from this cycle. You seem to like the fact that you are losing fat, gaining vascularity and so on, but you aren't impressed with strength or weight gains. Either you want size or to be lean. If you aren't impressed with size and weight gain then I would say check your diet. EQ is a slow gainer, but constant as long as your diet is on queue; that is with every cycle anyway.

                How many calories, fat grams, carbs and protein are taking in a day? If I sound like a dick then I apologize, I've just seen too many times where guys want size without the fat and it's just on possible without freakish genetics.

                  My diet is on queue, although it may be a little too, "clean." I am taking in a lot of protein in whole foods as well as smoothies. I eat whole grains. NO refined carbs or starches. Almost no sugar except in fruits. I drink a lot of water, although I am sure I could drink more. LOW sodium. And for the most part, only good fats. Mono and Poly, as well as Omegas. I guess I can up the intake a little and see what happens. I just remember that with the Sust, I could "feel" it in my system. I knew it was there... You know what I mean? But this time around... I just don't feel it the same. I don't know. Maybe it's me. I may bump the EQ up to 500mg a week and see what happens.

                    I know what you mean about not feeling it sometimes; I felt that as well with my last eq/test cycle, but check this out. This time around I haven't even started my cycle, but I have adjusted my diet and I'm stronger and have put more mass on now than when I was on.

                    By adjusting my diet I mean I'm a little more relaxed about the food I eat. Before I was so concerned about putting on fat that I was restricting myself too much. Just remember that it's easier to shed the fat later than put on muscle.

                    It sounds like your dieting smart, but just try and take in more calories and you should see a big difference. As long as you are smart with pairing up your foods then you should minimize bodyfat. What I mean is don't eat a steak with a sweet potato b/c you are matching high carbs with high fats. What I've done is doubled my brown rice servings with my chicken and saving the steak and salmon for dinner with veggies.

                        are you dieting or just eating clean and hoping for lean gains? My guess is one of two things, either your gear is bunk in which case the only positive way is to have it tested by a lab. or because you are dieting with clean food you will not see jumps in weight, you will see exactly what you are seeing...a loss in bodyfat and increase in vasularity. if you want to gain weight, at least lean weight, then I would increase the total of your clean calories.

                          as stone stated he would increase the total of your CLEAN calories -- to many guys eat like shit and look at the scale in terms of weight gain -- let the mirror be your judge not the scale --

                          supra is usually spot on in terms of gear unless things have changed

                            Thanks guys! Yeah, I have been VERY clean, but I think I will bump up the intake and see what happens. I don't eat like shit and I refuse to eat like shit. I want quality all around. Some of these guys (and no offense) will eat two Big Macs along with who knows what else to get those calories in. IMO, I think it is counterproductive to do that. Why not eat clean, and just boost your clean calorie intake.

                            Thanks SC, I am going to do that. Since the smoothies are liquid, I may go ahead and have two more a day and see what happens there.
