  • Bicep injury

i started my cycle 2 weeks ago today. test, deca, dbol.... as ya know strength comes very fast with dbol and last night i was training back and bis and i was curling the 90s for 4 a week ago and last night i got em 6 easy so i picked up the 100s and got 2 pretty easy and on the third one i was strainig pretty hard and it felt like something just pulled really tight in my left bi. it feels tight all day today and it looks like the short head of my bi is shorter than it was but there's no real pain today and no brusing. could this be a tear or just my constant looking at it has me thinking it looks different?
    thanks

eh some tears u can actually feel the hole with ure finger ice that bad boy, could also be just tightening up on u as a muscular defense mechanism due to the stress, just play it by ear but ice it a lot

I've seen a guy at the gym who tore his bi and didn't get it fixed. You don't want that for sure. It looks like shit. I'd make like alin said just in case.

i was holding off on going to the doc because i dont have any health ins. right now...
if it were torn wouldn't there be at least a little bruising and less range of motion than normal?

If its torn bruising and swelling. maybe not the area that it happend though. blood and fluid pools in the place of least resistance not place of injury unless the injury location is a least resistance injury, here's and examle, you sprain your ankle on the medial side(inside facing groin) blood will pool all over your foot laterally and even down by the achilles, there wont be pain in the achillies but swelling and bruisin is present, did that help?
whats the update as of now, btw no no no heat, heat is bad for tears in the first 4 days stick with ice
            RICE
            rest, ice, compression, elevation

well i worked today, i lay blocks for a living. i got along pretty good. it's still sore but no real pains just sore and tight feeling. even when i flex it hard there's no pains just soreness and tightness, kinda feels like flexing the day after a bi injection. if it were torn at all wouldn't there be pains when i flex it hard?

anyway i guess i'll just have to give it some time. i plan to work legs today and chest/tris tomorrow but no pulling movements. i may try and do something light the first of next week if theres no pain, if there is i'll stop right away.

sounds like minor tear esp if you are saying tightness(like after a bicep inject, your body pools fluid for protection, that's what you are feeling), for a week don't do anything directly bi's then your first time back go light and see how it feels, just don't rush in and set yourself back further

What bicep exercise were you doing? You could have a pull/small tear in one of the bicep muscles. The other may be compensating not to put to much stress on the injury. That's why you only feel a little soreness.

Ok, what may have happened was your muscle that creates forarm flexion is strong enough, but the muscle that turns your palm supine may not be. Flex you bicep like a hammer curl and see if there is pain, then turn your palm/fist upward and see if there is more/less pain.

well i worked back and bis today, well kinda.... i went really light and there wasnt really any pain just felt like a strain, no pains when i was working or flexing it. i figure if anything bad was wrong it would have been really painful to work bis, right? hopefully it keeps getting better and i don't do anything to make it worse. btw thanks for checking in brother....

Most likely. Like you said it keeps getting better, so be careful not to irratate and underlying problem.
