Lump at injection site

Ok guys, I did a search on abcesses, and I didn't find a post that really related to what I have. Last monday I took a shot of 1cc BD Test enenthate in my left delt. So it has been basically 6 days since I took the shot. Well there was a little discomfort the next day, but nothing to be concerned with, but on the 2nd or 3rd day, it started to swell, and get tender, but not red or itchy. But the weird thing is that the lump is more on my outer tricep head or bicep, kind of in the middle of the arm. It had gone down significantly the past few days, but today I did arms, and damn it is bigger than ever. I have been taking IB Profin, the past few days and that seemed to help. I was also told to massage it, but that seemed to make it more tender and swell up again. I put a heating pad on it tonight for about 15 mins, but still very swolen and tender. I was thinking about sticking it and seeing if could draw someting out. But I wanted to hear what you guys had to say. I had one on my right side but is has gone away after about a week. This is my first cylce, and was my 4th shot. I have done glutes but no problems, and I hit my quad last night with no problems other than a little tenderness. Sorry for this being so long I just want to describe in detail what I have going on.

By the way, I wiped down the vial and site with alcohol, used a new needle to draw, and a new needle to stick.

Use some ice and see what happens, could be a localized reaction, DONT draw it out... WIthout knowing what you are doin you may actually induce more bacteria to the site, Ice it 15 mins then rest 15 repeat a few times a day. also maybe you might want to filter the gear get a whatman from the sponsor and filter it once see what kind of junk may appear

an infection will not just be tender....an abcess is downright PAINFUL. If this is your first cycle I am guessing your body is just getting used to the shots. I get the same thing if I take a few months off, the first few leave a spot (not as bad as you say though). its weird that I have been hearing a lot of painful shot stories from BD users. Their stuff was always so good.

I just wanted to know what size needle you were using. For me I always use 3/4" needle for arms and chest. I had some bad soreness and tenderness after inj. in arms and shoulders w/test. I know not to go near those areas with test now, just irritates area too bad. Use BD all the time never any problems for me......bad batch of juice??? Good luck Bro, let us know how you make out.

Hey thanks for the conern iridiumblue. I was using 1" 25 guage, jsut don't go all the way in. The day after I posted this it started to go away, and now it is gone. So I think SC was right in that it was just my body getting use to it.
