After a multi-year effort, finally...
40-something male, 174, 6'0", body fat 22% (3 calipers method and personal
Tanita scale, they agreed within 0.5%.) Calipers method performed by
a fitness fox at a local gym, thankyou very much Miss Jessica.
Normal IGF-1 readings 70-90 (reasonable would be 200-350).
Diagnosed AGHD by insurers endocrinologist after double stimulation
tests failures (both failed at lowest levels). Tests were very unpleasant
and took 1-2 days to recover from. AGHD = Adult Growth Hormone Deficient.
Prescribed Humatrope titrated upwards as appropriate. Amount is more than
I have taken in the past (1.5iu vs. 1iu). I do not know the endocrinologist's
target range for me at this point and need to ask. Anyone know what
IU's would be needed to get a 70-90 reading up to say 300 ng/ml?
Initial rGH shipment on its way.
Cost to me: negligible.
Should be feeling pretty good in a couple more weeks. In the past even
1 iu Genotropin and 100mg test arm-dab in the morning perked my energy
up to good levels for the whole day.
