Been on the Jintropin now a little over a month and Im just starting to notice the tips of my fingers feel like pinz and needles. How bad does it get? Is there anything that relieves this besides lower dose?

Re: Tips of my fingers starting to go numb.
i stoped taking it on tuesday. i'm going to wait for the carpal tunel to go away, then resume at a lower dose. trust me bro - it gets VERY bad. it did for me anyway. i've been on about 6 weeks i guess and it's so bad it keeps me up all night. at night, by hands go so 'numb' the it feels like the bones in my 2 middle fingers all the way to my elbows are being crushed. it's excruciating and it wakes me up about 10-15 times a night. i have to sit up, put my legs off the bed and dangle my arms to the ground for about 2-3 minutes. then it goes away and i can sleep for another 15-30 min, then it's time to do it again.Originally posted by THE BOUNCER

when i lift, my right hand goes completely numd everytime i grab the weight. i won't bench without straps cause i'm terrified i'm gonna drop the weight on my face. the fingers on my right hand are numb all the time now, no matter what i'm doing. it sux bro. what sux even more, is that you have to come totally off of it and wait for the carpal water retention to go away, then resume.

extreme water retention in the ligaments of the wrist. the tendons and ligament become inflamed, pinching the nerves that reach to the fingers and thumb.Originally posted by THE BOUNCER
Well that makes me feel better. lol. I wonder what exactlly it is that makes it do this?
just to add - my fingers are so swollen i can't get my wedding ring off without lube, lol.
bouncer - if you look at the palm of your hand it's nice and pink. make a fist, hold it for three seconds then immediately look at the palm of your hand again. it will probably be white.Last edited by goliath; 09-18-03, 11:11 PM.

i was at 3, then went up to 4. i was at 4 iu for about 3 weeks, that's when it got really bad. but as doom said - it started at 3 iu, about 2.5-3 weeks in, just not as bad. a little nubness here and there and my hands would be numb for about 15 min after waking.Originally posted by THE BOUNCER
Goliath wasnt your dose pretty low anyway? Im on 5iu per day. Was it lower then that?

i have been on for a for about five days. still no numbness at 4 ius a day. i have been tired as all hell alot though.
i was hoping i wouldnt get hit with the sides since i was taking domnestic seros at 6 ius from april till last week of august. so techinically i have been off for 3 weeks, i guess it was too long :)
when the numbness hit with the seros, i had to massage my palms to be able to do any sort of a pressing motion. the pins and annoying numbness did go away after 2 months.
