  • Will my gear freeze

    Hello SM,

I've got a question and am hoping someone will be able to shed some light on my situation. My question is this, I recently purchased some gear out of Europe. I live in Idaho, for those of you who dont' know, the temperatures have been in the low 20's. Will my gear "Test E" freeze, and if so, will it be ruined? :hmmm:

    Thanks,

    -J

If your gear freezes or crashes, all you need to do is bring some water to a boil, take it off the stove, and, right when it stops boiling, place your gear in the water. Make sure there's enough water to cover the gear, but not so much as to cover the entire vial.

Swirl it arond in the water until your gear returns to normal.

Are you keeping it outside? I think oil would have to get really, really cold to freeze....

The cold weather won't necessarily freeze the oil, but it can make highly concentrated (i.e. T-400) gear crash.

          Thanks Fitness,

Again sorry for posting in the wrong spot at first.

As far as my gear... I don't plan on it being in the cold weather very long. A lot of it will depend on how long the mail courier service takes to deliver to my mailbox once it hits Idaho. Even if the oil gets somewhat concentrated, will it still be good to use once it sits at room temp for awhile?

          Thanks again for the posts

Glad you said after sitign at room temp for a while. I was hoping you wouldn't do out of the mailbox into the boiling water watch the vial pop. It may be thick or cloudy because of the cold temps it went through. But, let it come to room tempature and see what it looks like. If it's still cloudy or seperated do what c4dg said, but I'd also stick a pin top of the vial to vent it while you are heating & swirling.
