I started taking sustanon 250 in the middle of november and i figured by now all of my workouts would have went up in weight but they havent. THe thing that went up a lot was my curls and back workouts but my bench is basically still the same. I dont know if its my form or what but i would appreciate any advice.

Do you just want us to guess on the details? Well if I were to guess, you are probably taking one cc/ml a week. Being only 18 or 19 now you basically shut yourself down and started injecting about an equal amount of test you were naturally producing. So in reality you wouldn't see much different than just training and eating naturally as you do now.

175g of protien weighing 165lbs, Is that right? Looks like we need to take a look at your diet, you aren't eating near enough probably, to give all that AS anything to work with. Now the part you don't want to hear but needs to be said. This is why we preach about being mature enough physically and mentally before using AS.

I did a lot of reasearch about anabolic steroids but i still dont know what they do once they are inside your body. I know that they increase protein synthesis and make you stronger and deft put on muscle mass but can you explain in simple terms how they benefit me. I actually read a book called the steroids game but the words and examples they use are complicated just like any other book or website ive looked at so i would appreciate it if you could explain what i need to be doing and waht i should be eating. And the part about being young and inexperienced i completely agree with you on that but i really needed someting to boost my weight, beacause being 140 pounds was way to small and i was gettign frusturated by being stuck at that weight for monthsLast edited by big jimbo; 12-13-05, 10:25 PM.

For one you really need to work on your training routine. You are working out your chest and your bi's twice a week which you shouldnt do. You may be over training, unless you are doing them twice a week because you dont hit them hard enough when you do them. Which ever it is, it needs to be fixed. Im not sure if you forgot or not but it doesnt look like you are training legs either? At 18 you still have high levels of test and gh in your body. You should have worked on your training and let yourself grow natural. If you are not training and eating right AS are not going to help you any. Focus on your diet and training and you will see a big diffrence. After all that is where it all starts, not the needle.Originally posted by big jimboright now im taking 250 mg/ml three times a week. one shot on monday, one shot on wednesday and then again on friday. my routine is monday- chest/ tris

first off if your 18 you don't need to be doing steriods. your going to fuck something up permemently if your not careful. READ THE FORUM RULES BEFORE POSTING AGAIN PLEASE.Originally posted by big jimboright now im taking 250 mg/ml three times a week. one shot on monday, one shot on wednesday and then again on friday. my routine is monday- chest/ tris

secondly if your using 750 mg a week and not gaining in strength then you have bunk gear. that is unless you have only just started and and the test hasn't kicked in (it takes several weeks)
if it really just your bench that hasn't gone up then it is your routine that is needing.
you really might want to have some the guys here review your diet.

big jimbo,
You've already heard the caveats about AAS use at your age, so I'm going to skip it in my response. I'm not going to go into minute diet details...instead, I'm going to focus on the most important part of your diet: protein.
A rule of thumb for the minimum (and I do mean minimum) amount of protein you should be taking in daily if you are trying to add mass is: 1.5g of protein per pound of bodyweight. So, in your case:
1.5g x 165lbs = approx 250g of protein per day, minimum
That is nearly 100g above what you are taking in now, so it's easy to see why you are not growing much even if your gear is legit.
Also, keep in mind that your body can only absorb so much protein per sitting...and that it's better to have a constant stream of nutrients available to growing muscles throughout the day. This means trying to divide your servings of protein throughout the day, every 2 1/2 hours or so being ideal. Try not to take in more than around 60g of protein per serving at your size (look up how many grams of protein different foods have in a table, easily found with a Google search). Skipping two servings of protein throughout the day and then trying to make up for it by forcing down 150 grams in the evening does NOT work.
Being able to eat at least 6 meals throughout the day at equal intervals takes discipline sometimes: it means cooking up your food in advance and lugging around tupperware containers much of the time. You really should try to get most of your protein from lean beef and chicken; save shakes for when you wake up, immediately after your workout, and when in a pinch where eating food is impossible. If your butcher doesn't know you by name, you aren't eating enough meat!
Now, as for your workout: only work each bodypart once every 6 or 7 days. Since you currently train six days per week, try a split like this instead:
Monday: Chest
Tuesday: Legs
Wednesday: Back/Traps
Thurdsay: Shoulders
Friday: Triceps
Saturday: Biceps/Forearms
Sunday: rest
Hit each bodypart hard once per week...you'll give it enough time to recuperate for the next workout that way. Remember: you don't grow while you're working out, you grow while you're at home resting and eating.
Good luck with your new diet and training split. If you follow the good advice you're getting in this thread, I think you will see growth whether your Sustanon is real or not.
