I feel like alot of people these days put to much emphasis on steroids and not enough on diet and training. Steroids are the last thing that should be considered after years of hard training and eating right. I would like to see more post in the diet and training sections. I promise, if alot of you spent more time with the diet and training side of things, you would be alot better off. Steroids are not cool, they dont make you get "huge", and you wont turn into a bodybuilder if you use them. Hard work, diet, and genetics is what will make or brake you. Steroids should only be used after many years of tears and blood in the gym and many crappy tuna and egg meals chocked down. Steroids are only a very small fraction of this lifestyle. Dont get it twisted people.

Agree with you there boss! I have had numerous surgeries for sports related injuries and weight lifting injuries. Eat same depressing foods every damn day. That has brought me further than AS could have ever of gotten me, IMO! It's easy to become obsessed with AS but you have to focus on what is truly important, training and diet. As for the genetics.............boy did I get ripped off!

Good call...while I have nothing against steroids, I am amazed at the changes I have seen in my body after learning more about nutrition and training from this site. I do get tempted, but I figure until I get everything else perfect, I really have no right doing steroids...

Agreed, totally.
Its so hard to get people to understand that when we talk about steroids openly on this site, most of us have already started eating 5000 clean cals a day, working out 5X a week, and already have a good (I would like to say perfect, but it does not exist) split down.
If you don't know what a split is, don't even bother to ask about steroids. If you don't eat breakfast, don't ask. If you don't know how many grams of protein your shooting for (if not what your getting) every day, don't ask. If you don't know that your supposed to eat 6-7 times a day.....
You get the point, steroids are the icing on the cake. Take them without the skill and disipline, and you will wind up fat with acne (think, fat bastard). :)
I am kidding, but not totally. I see too many guys in my gym that look like hell; and think they are the shit because they can bench 450 or whatever. Great, your strong. Be a powerlifter. To be a BB you have to be strong and lean, not strong and fat. Steroids are not going to get you lean, they are not going to get your "cuts" to show; they are going to make you gain weight and pack on muscle. Its your dedication to the sport that makes you stand above the rest, not the needle that you stick in your ass or the pills you take.

To be a bodybuilder you need to be big and lean. Being strong is only a bonus.Originally posted by PumaAgreed, totally.
