  • Running 2 17aa's at the same time

    I'm hearing and seeing more and more people running a Var/Winny combo for 6 to 8 weeks. Two good friends of mine who are similar in body type, training, and diet have done VERY well with this combo. Very hard, very lean, but very full too. Now I realize the danger of running 17aa's together and not that people i know doing it makes it safe but judging by how so many people claim var as a VERY mild 17aa, I'm considering running the two with some prop as well.

    Both people i know ran it at :

    40mg ED Var
    50mg EOD Winny


    I was thinking about throwing in 100mg of prop EOD as well, just because I never like running a cycle w/o test.

    What do you guys think? I've only read people advocating against running one 17aa after another for a long period of time (10+ weeks) but never against running them together for a short period of time (6-8 weeks).

    first i wouldnt go over 6 weeks. it dosnt matter if you run 2 or 3, 17aas its the total over all. many people take 100mgs a-bombs ED(and more) so i see no problem with what you have. make sure you run some liv-52. i think winny is garbage unless your body fat is low enough to see it work. id deffinetly run the prop with it also. remember im no doctor so wait for more feed back. good luck

      You might get good results while you're on that stack, but then what? A couple weeks later what will you have to show for it? You'd be better off spending your money on a real cycle.

        This is my exact question to them!? But in a way, it's really just the same as running a longer cycle with different compounds. You come off properly,etc...wait the same amount of time and jump back on...

        A cycle like this I would only do spring/summer time. Hopefully i'm going to Miami in March for a couple days so i might run this 6 weeks prior to my departure. If not, then before I go to Aruba in June.

        To be honest though and this is my personal preference, I just see too many sides after 10 weeks on anything. I generally always use Test-E as the foundation of my cycles, but I just feel that after 10 weeks I see more sides then gains. Granted this all comes down to training/diet but I think I might be better suited for shorter cycles and faster acting compounds...I'm 5'9 191lbs and my body fat is pretty low (11-13%). I've hit 219 in the past but this time around i'm not all that interested in seeing anything over 205. A nice, hard, solid, lean, & vascular 200-205 sounds about right.

          Then what, do your PCT and battle with keeping your gains while on vacation? These are what I call "magic pill" cycles. I'm not trying to get on your case, but I have never understood why people do cycles like these for those reasons. I think it makes more sense to run a tren or prop cycle with enough time before your trip to finish PCT and with results that are easier to keep.

            I hear you totally and i don't take any offense to what your saying. I don't think I'm the right person to speak on what other people are looking to achieve, their knowledge, or lack there of. But what I can say is that I guess you can look at it the same way competitors run pre-contest cycles....

            I've completed longer cycles, timed within two weeks of my departure and depending on how long I was away, I would bring whatever PCTs compounds necessary. I am also the type to hit the gym first thing in the morning while on vacation. Diet always seems to slack (as does with anyone on a vacation) but for the most part I do my best to maintain.

            With a fast acting compounds like winny/var/prop... I generally give prop about 3 days before I start PCT. I should also add that i've never done Winny before either.

              just keep it under 6 wks and you will be ok.

                im with shibby go with tren/prop and if you like var skip the winny at 11-13% bf i dont think youll be impressed with the way winny makes you look. but the tren will drop that bf even lower.

                  I have run those two compounds at those levels for 6 weeks while getting blood work and had minimal side effects (my AST and ALT were a little high, but returned to normal after the cycle).

                  Given your "preferences," I would frontload the prop and run it for 4 weeks and then add the var and winny for 6 weeks.

                    See that's the thing, i've never really responded well to Tren. I've really had some bad sides from it and I normally don't get bad sides from anything (aside from mild acne on my back and shoulders).(BAD break out, some unusual aggression, terrible night sweats, intense dreams, and always feeling like it's 150 degrees out.) I've felt the sides of Tren more then I enjoyed the compound. I tried it at 75mg ED and also at 75mg eod with the same experiences.

                    Maybe i'll try it again, but either way I plan on getting my diet and training in check to cut that body fat down before I do anything.

                    I'll keep everyone posted.
