  • Been Too Long

    Hi All,

It's been many moons since the last time I was here so I apologize if I sound dumb, so please be gentle. Here it goes, ok I tore my Labrium back in 6/04 and I tore it pretty damn good so since the surgery I really was reluctate to go to the gym because i was afraid of the pain when lifting but I just rejoined to lose the extra weight I gained from not being able to really do any lifting. so I joined and wanted to get the strength back in my shoulder and I lost a lot of strenght in it but as the time passed and i started to lift more and more I noticed that I really wasn't getting any good strenght in my left shoulder. As a thought I was thinking about taking some Test E to see if that works. I was going to do llike 500 mg for 4 weeks and I'm going to see if my DR can actually prescribe me some, but I needed some advice if this was a good idea or not and also this will be my first cycle ever.

    thanks for any advice

with enanthate it's just getting kicked in at week 4 so that's certainly not long enuff to see much of anything from it, if you're gonna run it do it for 10-12 weeks and you'll see some results...

many moons bro you just joined 2 months ago???? anyways i thought id poke fun at ya. back to the subject like already said 4 weeks not long enough. 10-12 for test E much better. but if i were you id try and get stronger natural first that shoulder might get to strong to fast and get a reinjury.

I have been trying naturally for about 3 mns now and not much progress that's why i'm thinking that Test may help me along since I really can't increase any weight and even though i signed up 2 mns ago I used to go by a different name 2 yrs ago and can't remember what it was but thanks for poking fun :)

You have only been training for 3 months?? How's your diet? I bet if you improved your diet you would see the gains you are after. No reason to jump on a cycle because you have been training for 3 months and not seeing gains.

There was a football player from Northwestern (I think) who tested positive at the combine last year. He admitted to using steroids to help with a stagnant recovery from an injury...just fyi, I guess, I doubt you could consult with him or anything

I tried to push my shoulder more in the last 3 months then previously I started to work out in a gym last april/may but was always nervous about putting more weight thinking I was going to tear it again.

Well I would definately not use the gear. I would personaly make sure my diet was in check and my training was appropriate. Remember, when you use gear, it pushes your body to do stuff beyond what it naturually could meaning if that shoulder wasn't ready to undergo 100x's more the workout it is going through now off gear, then you could end fucking the shoulder to the point where you wouldn't even be able to pick up a glass of water for the rest of your life (worse case senario). hehe

Just put more weight on and strain (not too much) but go heavy like between 4 to 6 reps in each set and see how it feels a couple days later or the next day whatever... If you feel the slightest pain when going heavy then stop immediately.

I've been trying to keep my mouth shut at some of the stupid things I have been seeing lately (trying to work on my character :D) but I have to agree here...

Stay natural for a year spec recovering from a sever injurey. Shoulder injuries suck you might never lift heavy again. Ask your doctor and trainers for advice.
