i beleieve those are individual pin filters.

I think they're just for filtering out any tiny bits of glass you might get in your gear if you use amps. For a second I thought they might be an alternative to whatman filters, but they aren't. It says 5um, and whatmans are either .45 or .22 if I remeber right.....
