  • T4 or T3?

This may be easier to understand than I'm making it, or maybe I have just completely confused myslef... but if T4 helps the body to produce T3 naturally, why wouldn't you take T4 instead of T3? Would it make the rebound effects less drastic?

T-4 converts to T-3! the way T-4 works is by converting to T-3 so its basically the same thing but T-4 is something like 4 times weaker than T-3. if you ramp up and down slow enough your rebound shouldnt be that hard. the thing i dont like about T-3 is you can mess up your thyroid forever!

Also like saying, why take prohormones when you can take the active steroid in the first place.

Thanks, I couldn't find anything on the amount of T4 that would be needed.
