  • contest cycle...

I would say "upcoming" contest cycle, but it won't be coming up for about 49 or so weeks. I'll be dieting for 10-12 weeks...about 2-4 wks in, I'll start cycling. At any rate:

    Wks 1-6 prop @ 150 mgs EOD
    Wks 1-8 tren a @100 mgs EOD
    Wks 7-8 masteron @ 100 mgs EOD
    Wks 7-8 winny @ 50 mgs ED

I will be adding the mast and winny when I drop the test, but running tren throughout

questions: should I make the cycle longer? should I go EOD with the winny?

    thanks

wouldn't I hold too much water if I ran the test too close to the show?

it is test prop so you shouldn't be holding much water. The idea is to stop all injections 10-14 days from the show for that reason and in case there is a problem with an injection/lump/etc.

But, if you are running the tren until it, then y not continue with the test?

with prop i don't hold much at all, last summer i dropped it 10 days out from a show when i started halo and this last show that i just did i ran the prop all the way up to it and didnt really notice any difference as far as water retention from it

how did the halo work for you? I've also heard of a-bombs 3 days out to increase RBC production and make you more vascular...

yea i like halo the week before a show, gives me a harder than normal look... i was on EQ for 12 prior to this past show so my vascularity was already pretty good... i've never tried drol like that though.... i know one thing though, alcohol increases vascularity like a mutha. i was out after the show drinking and shit i had full veins everywhere. but i doubt being drunk on stage would be good, lol....

The cycle is a little short but since it's all short half lives it can be done. Personally I do drop all oil base substances about 2 weeks out. In all honesty it depends on the person as to how your body responds to water retention.
I'd also go a little longer with your winny. First and foremost though, what is your diet going to look like?

                    why, thanks for asking

I thought about hiring a nutritionist, but a) one of my lifting partners said, "dude, you don't have THAT much fat to lose," and it's true, b) I did get ready for my last show (Nov) in 6-8 wks and my fiancée thinks I was in great shape, even though I didn't, and c) I had the kind of condition I'd want when I did a show last June, which I thought was better than in Nov

The honest answer is, I don't know. I'm not sure how much I'll really weigh or how fat I'll really be when I start cutting

It'll probably look like my other cutting diets -- cycling carbs in varying amounts...I'm really not sure. I feel like it'll be a bit harder if I'm 224 when I start than when I was starting at 183

hmm...I wish I had it written down so I could pinpoint what I did differently...

whey shake, 1 whole egg and 6 whites, bowl of oatmeal, chicken'n'brown rice with olives, steak and sweet potatoes...stuff like that, I think I cut all dairy 2 or 3 wks out or something

I guess the big difference was that in the spring, I had a show lined up, dieted and stuff, then I decided not to do the show...still dieted, picked another show, found out it wasn't happening, dieted some more, picked another show, things came up, hadda do a show later...and when all was said and done, I guess I dieted for a long freakin' time, including two consecutive "final" contest prep weeks (carb depleting/loading)

lemme hunt for some pics for comparison, and see if my condition is diff or if I'm imagining things

this is me backstage with the overall winner from the show in June. I think I was just as conditioned as he was, except with 70 lbs less muscle

this is 3 days before the show, a little flat since I didn't carb load yet...
