Nobody will be able to answer this cause it is all relative to each and every individual. Not to mention whether you're talking about Amateurs or Pros.
I'd imagine most Pros stay on at least a maintenance dose throughout the year and change things up and possibly increase dosages when show time comes around. Some may cycle on and off.
Same statements as above for Amateurs.

I don't stay on for long periods of time. 12 weeks is typically my longest.
When I graduate (couple weeks) I'm going to start getting a routine as far as eating and gym time and work all back together and after I get back to where I was, I'm going to run a 15 weeker but I don't think I'd ever go past that.

some amateurs will tell you, some won't...if you talk to people backstage and it comes up, I'm sure you could slip a question in. What I've seen and heard, though, leads me to believe the stuff amateurs do varies greatly. Some probably go 12-16 on with just 2 or 3 compounds, while some run slin and gh all the time...I'd say amateurs are all over the place
