  • Where to inject B12

I'm planning on getting some B12 from superior research and I did some reading about injecting it. Some said inject into the fat in you stomach with a slin pin, others say into a muscle like you would gear. Which should I do? I have never injected anything myself so I figure this is a good way to learn. I was planning on getting the 1cc insulin syringe and needles. My other question is do I need one needle to load the syringe and one to inject like it is suggested you do with gear? Any other tips would be appreciated as well.

Just use the same needle for both bro - what guage did you get? I believe most slin needles are 28-29 and they shouldn't hurt at all. I never felt the need but some folks move around their tummy's to inject but I always just used the same exact spot (right next to a freckle). No need to aspirate either.

I havent ordered them yet but I believe they are 29. So I'm just aiming for fat in the stomach, sounds easy enough. What is aspirate? I was planning on following the directions from spotinjections. Also, if I wanted to, could I use a longer, larger needle and go into muscle, such as a glute, in order to "practice" for gear?

when u aspirate u pull back on the plunger of the syringe before u inject the substance and u will most likely get a bubble if injected straight into the muscle...u dont want to see blood

You can do them either way but sub-q would be the easiest by far. Practice sounds great now but after the first time you inject you'll be like - why did I practice - what's the big deal. If you've read around the spotinjections website you should be much more confident and that goes a long way (but you should have picked up on how to aspirate there as it's simply what Mr. Mafioso said). As for the slin needles, the 29's should be extremely short in length and you can only go sub-q with them. If you're going to try practicing an intra-muscular shot you can go with a 23*-25 guage but you may want to change the needles after pulling up the B-12 as the larger the needle the more it will hurt with a dull tip.

*23 is a little big IMO for injecting so you can pull with this - however, B-12 should not be that hard to pull so you may just want to order all 25's.

Thanks guys, its just helps to have someone clarify what I think I'm reading. I knew about the actual act of aspirating but I didnt know thats what it was called. Thats actually the part that had me a little worried. Not knowing exactly where to put the intramuscular shot. I'll stick to the sub-Q shots with the slin pins for now, I'm sure youre right about the practicing. I just dont want to end up hurting myself eventually when I do the "real" injections.

Sub-Q takes a lot less effort and is a lot less painful.
