Hi, I've ask a couple questions here and you always gave me respectable advice. I was wondering what would be the best way to ask my doctor to test me for testosterone deficiency, I honestly believe I do have it after going online and reading symptoms from it. The only problem is that I go to the gym so I dont want my doctor to say no thinking i just want some gear legally. I am also thinking they will be less likely to prescribe me because the media has be saying lately that everybody and there grandmother are using steriods to get big haha. I just didnt know if anybody went to there doctor for this, or what the right things would be to say. And, by the way I am 22, not some 16 yr old dreaming of getting big and making the varsity high school football team lol.

Just tell him you want to have yor test levels checked. What's he gonna say, "No, get out of my office"? He won't prescribe you enough gear to make serious gains (from what I understand) he'll probably give you some test gel. I think there's somebody on here that's on HRT, I'm sure they could tell you more.Originally posted by KonitzHi, I've ask a couple questions here and you always gave me respectable advice. Thats what I was wondering how to go through with it. I researched a little more and they do your bloodwork and if you have low testosterone they treat you some insurances even pay for it. I guess somethihng like 1 in every 300 men have low testosterone so I may be right about having it.Originally posted by fog_hat1981Are you going to have your bloodtest done and talk to your actual physician anyways?

i had the same problem. my test level was around 350. I went to a anti aging doctor and she prescribed a test cream. It has worked great so far. Like it was mentioned before, you are not going to look like a pro bodybuilder, but my overall health, strength, musculature has increased. My test levels were checked again and my test levels where like 850ish. so it has definately helped. If you go to a general practioner , It would be unlikely that they would prescribe you something at your age. I would go to HRT specialist or an anti aging clinic if you can afford it
