  • mega cycles, staying on year-round

Let me first begin by saying that this probably isn't the best thing to do for your health, and that off-time is good to let things normalize, and all that...

What does a year-round cycle look like? I've seen 26- or 32- week cycles or something like that with a base of 750 mgs or a gram of test, and cycling between orals and injectables, or prop and drol for 6 weeks, then tren and primo for 6 weeks, then npp and dbol for 6 more, then back to prop and tren for another 6. I've also heard of -- I think this is what Conte had Bonds do -- going on for 3 weeks, off for 1 week with clomid (and maybe HCG) then back on for 3 weeks, then off for 1. Then, there are those who suggest 4 weeks on, 2 weeks off where during the "off" time you take clomid and HCG while taking a "lower" dose of test (I'd guess prop or susp) -- around 100 mgs a week if you're running 500-750, or 400 mgs a week if you're running 2 grams or something

With that last one, you don't really return to normal during the 2 weeks, but you strike a balance between staying on 24-7, 365, and those 18 or so weeks when you're off and shrinking

    Any thoughts?

i cycle kinda like your first example 24 weeks. base of test E 750 and EQ 800 per week switching from anadrol-d-bol stack to tren every 6 weeks. and usally GH but no GH this time im gonna try IGF-1. i dont like the 3 weeks on 1 off your still shut down so you might as well get something outa it. and if your using test E its still very much in your system durring that 1 week off.

what if you used prop the whole time, what would that 1 week "off" time look and feel like?

another idea: what about bridging with stuff that doesn't shut you down, like IGF? or weaker stuff like winny and var? the only problem I have with var is that its expensive...I've heard of bridging from last shot of test E to beginning of PCT with winny, though

I stayed on for about 3 yrs. i made riddiculous gains. would not do it again. there is no need. I am not a pro, and never gonna be one. I took a year off, and I just got back on about 30 days ago. I can see why I did not come off before. I love the way I feel, and the pumps are great. It is addictive! I think I have a little muscle dysmorphia, I never feel big enough. However I did like how dry I stayed off cycle. Bodybuilding is a curse, cause u never can get too big. I am trying not to get too caught up this time, working more on shape, than mass. When I stayed on year roun, I ran a test base switching it up every ten wks. ran between 500 and 1500 a week depending on what i was doing. Then I would stack, eq, tren, d-bol...whatever with the test 10wks at a time. However, If I could afford it I would stay on G for the rest of my life.

For my next cycle I'll be running EQ for 6 months with prop, tren, and maybe NPP for 4 weeks at a time each. I'm to the point now where I don't respond that well to test for more than maybe 8 weeks without bumping the dose up, and I don't like the way I feel on more than a gram a week of test. For me personally, I'd rather switch drugs every 4 weeks than keep upping the doses. The only exception is EQ because it works best when you run it for a long time and the sides are mild. Plus, it's good to have the appetite increase throughout the whole cycle. BTW, if you're new to gear don't jump on a cycle like this; I've been taking gear (on and off) for like 8 years....

When you came off did you ever go see the doc and get blood tests? and also how long did it take your natty test to recover after being on for 3 years?

I have a DR. friend so I had my blood levels checked pretty regulary. I was ok for the most part. Elevated tri-gliciorides and blood pressure. but liver and kidney function was ok. i did the hcg thing for a while when I came off. Lets just say i lost a hell of a lot of muscle and strength.

So how long do you think it took for your test levels to start coming back to normal?

Control, what are your boys like throughout the cycle? The reason liked the 4-week on, 2-week off is that it gave you some recovery time, not exactly sure how much recovery you'd get done.

Also, how often did you get bloodwork done?

My experience with hcg during a cycle is that my nuts grow back while I'm taking it, but then when I stop they shrink again. I don't think you're going to recover by coming off cycle for two weeks, but I've never run a cycle like that so I can't say for sure. Back in the day, I never got bloodwork done. Now I get it done with my regular physical and my cholesterol goes up some along with blood pressure but nothing crazy.

Unless athletics is your profession mega dosing year around is truly a BAD idea.

To me, there's no point in taking massive amounts of gear without GH and slin. You need all three to build muscle, so even though you're taking lots of steroids you're going to be limited by your bodies natural production of GH and slin. Kinda like taking a car and adding a ton of horsepower, but you've still got stock traction, transmission, etc. The reason why GH isn't as popular as gear is because it's expensive, it's often fake, and the results aren't as obvious in the short-term. Slin isn't that poular (among amatuers) because it can kill you and it can make you fat (if you don't know what you're doing). If you don't want to mess with GH and slin, stick to more moderate doses.

As far as staying on year-round, that's a decision that will affect you for the rest of your life. Eventually you will have to be on HRT because you won't be able to produce test anymore. I know guys that have made that decision and they're cool with it. I don't know if I'd ever want to be like that though...
