    ok, im about to start taking Phentermine, the 37.5mg tablets they should get here next week, and ive read about the tolerance build up and all that, and it was reccomended to me that i use it in 2 week cycles. 2 weeks on phentermine, and then 2 weeks on something like it for weight loss, that whole wrap. so im trying to find some suggestions, i read about Didrex, but nothing in depth, wanted to get some opinions as well as suggestions. and if its some kind of RX meds, and i was also suggested to use something with ephedra in it to do the trick.

    What's your diet look like? Phentermine is just an appetite suppressant. There are much better ways to lose weight, I'd start with diet (which is the biggest thing) and work from there.

      well i was thinking low carb and high protein
      im not sure which route to go
      i want to lose about 50 pounds

        Go to the nutrition forum and read up on dieting. Once you've got a good diet outline post it up in there so we can critique it. How much do you weigh now, how old are you, whats your bodyfat %, how active are you. We need more info 2 b able to help you. 50 pounds is a lot but it's all relative to the questions I've asked. Anything is possible if you're really serious about it and determined.

          go to amazon and fid a book called "what does your doctor look like naked" by warren willey that book will line you out on a good diet for weight loss.

            im 19
            weigh 240
            body % i dont know
            and im about to be very active with going to the gym
            and playing basketball on a regular basis
            for 2 hours a day for a class in college
            and then some for fun

            and i need a diet, but i dont know which direction to go in
            i kinda need one suggested on me

            and yes, i have strong will power
            i am willing to do whatever it is i have to do

                what are you uppin Wrecka? have you outlined your own diet and posted for others to critique? if you ask me, with your excess weight just with dieting and cardio your fat should come off easy. hold off the suppplements until you plateau and losing weight is harder. outline your diet and workout schedule, which you could find many examples of in the training and diet section, then we'll work from there.

                  Go to the nutrition forum. Calculate your BMR. Read through other diets in that forum.

                  Compare your goals to others goals that are similar and that may have similar BMRs and workout regimens. This will give you at least an outline which you should then post in the nutrition forum so that we may critique it.
