  • Gear and Training

I'm sure I would figure this out on my own but I was hoping to start out on the right schedule and then adjust as necessary.

How sore does an injection cause the muscle to be and does this effect strength or lifting ability? (I know the whole site injection thing is a myth, thats not what I mean)

Say a guy is injecting 250mg Test E Tues and Fri. The injections will most likely be in the quads. Should he/ will he be able to work legs those days, the days after? Shouls they be the day before.

Also, I have read a lot about being able to up the frequency and intensity of workouts while on but also that you can still overtrain. I havent really found any info as to how much is suggested. What do you guys recommend.

What you're asking for is nearly impossible to answer for you. It's an individual thing. It depends on the brand of gear being used, your personal tolerance to the gear, how intense the workout is.

Now for my own personal experience, I've had times where i took a shot to the quads and I was crippled for a day or two and there was no way I was working out legs. Other times I've had no problems and worked out same day. I typically like to workout legs first then inject. That way if you get sore you've already worked out that muscle.

As far as overtraining on gear, well that's a highly individual thing. You have to listen to your body and know when it's getting to be too much. If your gains have slowed or stopped suddenly, you're fatigued more, you've lost a bit of motivation, well it's probably time to consider taking a bit of time off. Some people go overboard cuz they are on gear, remember, you're not superman while on gear although you may feel like it.

Never had a problem injecting quads and training them the same or next day. Sometimes they get slightly sore, but nothing that would prevent a workout. But I agree that it is an individual thing

I have had an opposite expierence from jterry. I have tried doing quad shots a couple times post work out and my quad felt like it got hit with a hammer. I would imagine it's due to the tissue being broken down already and they you inject something into it.

Believe me I've had that too...but for the most part it's been good to me. I'd rather hobble around and have already worked that muscle group than to hobble and still need to work it out.

I always try to inject into the muscle right before I train. It helps the oil dissipate in the muscle. Injecting into your muscle right after training is bad IMO. I seem to bleed like crazy when I do that.

Now that you mention it I have noticed more blood the day after. It makes sence.

I'd definitely suggest shooting in the muscle your training for the same reason Control stated. As far as how long it's going to be sore......Too much of a case by case thing to put a time frame on. All depends on a person's pain tolerance, ease of injection, injection method, specific location, what your injecting, how much BA/BB is in the oil, etc....
