TNE with NaOH

For those who make your own TNE, is there any pure NaOH household product available anymore at your local store? I have notice that Red Devil Lye has been discontinued to strip the estrogen.

I have purchase a product to strip the ester from the Test and estrogen, but the product does contain sodium hydroxide (40%) sodium nitrate (30%) and sodium carbonate (30%). I know that Sodium hydroxide is used to strip both the estrogen the prop esters, but will the other ingredients have any effects?

Do a search on Red Devil Lye on Google- I've seen some on-line at hardware and grocery stores - sucks to pay the large shipping for such a cheap product, but that may be what it takes.
