When to run Dutasteride?

I have started to notice a little baldness on top. So I have been searching for research on dutasteride and have found some good info on the board about how it works and dosage, my question is about how long and when to run it. Can I run it during my cycle, during pct, and for how long do I have to stay with it?

I know someone that runs it post cycle. He says you need to use it for 2 months before you really start to see some results. And he uses a dose of 2.5mg ed.
