  • Headed South of the Border

Well Its time to go south again. I was wondeing if anybody has a pulse to whats available (Brands not sources). I was down three months ago and it was pretty slim pickens. I specifically wanted QV and my normal spot had ZERO. I settled and was not very happy, abviously very under dosed.

What are some other preferd brands I should keep my eye out for while down there. I personally Have had excellent results from QV and before that I was an Organon fan but that gets expensive.

Still slim pickens down south is an understatement. Good luck! Border is TIGHT and some of the shops are turning folks in to AFI and local policia. Of course this is what my buddy said who went down from Phoenix, AZ three weeks ago.

      Again, good luck

Why would they turn you in, isnt it legal there?

Tornel seems to give very good results and I have not heard of it being much underdosed either. I am currently running Tornel Test Enthnate and like it. It is also painless to boot. It all depends upon who you plan on crossing over with and whether or not you are attempting to bring in large amounts. Three 10ml vials or so isn't something that stands out, especially if you are bringing back souveniors with you and declare them. It's when you appear to be returning empty handed that draws attention. Basically, look touristy and you have a much higher chance for success, IMO.

Yes it's legal there, but it's a joint effort by the US & Mexico, more on the American side. Haven't you read anything about the bust that happened Dec. 15th, 2005? Read up on it and follow the posts, do a search. We all spoke about this and some of the crew has made multiple runs down there and came back with horror stories and nothing to show for it, but empty wallets. Where I use to go is completely shutdown for it, all they sell is vet food now and won't even discuss gear with you to protect themselves and their customers. Other places have been turning people in. I have close personal friends that have made the run. This was the same for my buddy three weeks ago who went across via AZ.

Just be aware of your surroundings. Even if you get some gear, you still have to make back to the border without a shakedown and then get across. If they say tell me what you need and then say come back in an hour, just don't come back. It is either there on the counter and ready for sale or nothing. Remember, Mexico is poor and the police need to get paid too. This is not your local Rite Aid or US culture. I hate to make you have fear about this, but that's what has saved my ass when I have gone down. You haven't had your butt pucker until you are headed to Mexican jail and negotiating how much money they want to let you go before you get there OR being in jail and waiting for your crew to pay the judge the next day or that night...

legal but like DS said the crackdown that happend.

I've heard shit too that some places are just dry. Havent been there in about 2-3 years now, wouldnt go back either. The cops over there are very underpaid, so they will take away anyones money away, and some are corrupted. Nowadays u dont know who the cops are. Me personally i wouldnt risk it anymore, thats just me.

I wouldn't risk it. I'd rather get a letter from customs then get stopped coming over the border. Most UG gear is better than mex anyway
