  • GH PCT?

Comming off GH. Been on for over a year at around 4 iu a day. What tyoe of PCT can be used in order to get your natural GH back to normal as quickly as possable.

For those that have come off after being on a good amount of time. What did you notice in terms of sides?

Also, would it make a difference if I tapered off? Or would just stopping cold turkey have the same effect?

    Thanks

The good news is you don't need to do any pct for GH; your natural levels of GH and IGF will be back to normal in 48 hours. The bad news is that you may be permanantly resistant to GH (and therefore "defecient" in a sense). That's assuming you've been taking it everyday. 5 on 2 off, might not be quite as bad, but the best way to run it is EOD for 6 months to a year.

bouncer , there is no real pct for coming off when it concerns growth . i am pretty sure your a young guy so your body will bounce back pretty quick as far as normal levels are concerned .

your sleep may be affected for a period of time while your body makes its adjustments to the sudden shock of less gh [ getting itself used to normal gh levels for your age].
your age will be your biggest benefit bro - the body is amazing it bounces back and gets itself on the right track pretty quickly - i have found no adverse effects in the past after coming off a long growth run but was not pushing high amounts-- i will be in your shoes in a few months after the 2 shows - i have been pushing 5 ius for a while now - not as young as you ! will be interested to see how my body reacts -

after being off for a while make sure to see a doc and get a full blood panel done to be sure things are good -

what i worry about more is the mind end of it !! everything we do whether we like to admit it or not becomes an addiction and thats no bullshit - fighting the fact that your no longer taking it will be harder then your body physically getting itself back on track -

Got blood work done last week. my blood sugar levels came back a little off but the doc said that may be because i wasnt fasting. liver enzimes came back a bit high also.

as for the mind. well im fighting demons everyday in my mind bro. i know for a fact that once I come off GH I will tell myself I am getting fatter and weaker and so on.

you and i are alot alike bro -- its a sickness thats hard to combat -- its an addiction - no 2 ways about it -

soon as we feel different - its because we stopped this or that -- the mind is the harddest thing to fight - also feel that most of the crap drugs that a doc tries to prescribe to help with certain demons only makes things worse

also good to see your glucose levels are not that far off -- gh affects that in a big way --

liver enzymes a touch off is nothing to get nuts about -- just keep taking your milk thislte -- are you taking tmg aswell ? those 2 combined keep my enzymes pretty damn good bro !

what does permanently resistant mean? how would one know?

i've had my gh levels checked since then and all good and high, plus blood done several times and all good their also

I looked many places for info pertaining to GH supplementation and couldn't find anthing to definitively state (with accompanying studies) whether natural levels restore themselves to their former production levels. We know that GH is regulated through a feedback loop and the pituitary is the master gland that regulates the production of GH. This is simply a theory, but I would have to assume that unless the pituitary is somehow physically damaged (such as a head impact) that it would resume its natural role once the feedback loop calls for more natural production in the absence of supplemented GH. Still, I didn't find anything pertaining to long term use and natural recovery levels anywhere. Most stuff I've read refers to permanently compromised GH systems and not supplemented to already healthy individuals.

Probably the best thing to do is get your GH levels checked after about one or maybe even two weeks. I did find typical GH values in healthy males of various age groups but I can't remember where I saw the study. It may have been on PubMed or Medline.

Maybe not permanantly resistint. There was a study where after 2 years of ED GH injections it took a year and a half for to build normal GH sensitivity back up...EOD is the way to go.
