  • Drawing from Vial Question

When I pull out 1/2cc from a vial, draw 1cc of test from an amp and then change needles (after pulling the oil out of it first) I always end up with about 1 3/4cc's in the syringe - should I not be pulling the entire measurement from the vial (as the product is almost gone and I have 3 weeks left to take it  )...

Have you pulled from the amp first to see if it's closer to 1 1/4 ml full? As for the vial, you never get 10cc injected out of a 10ml bottle. Just one of those things.

Vial could be underfilled, but you will NEVER get 10 ml's out of a 10 ml vial. Just too many places where you can leave a little here and there. If you look at the syringe after you are done with the injection you will typically see oil there.......Now multiply that by how many times you inject and it starts to add up.

There are special syringes that take this into account and are made a certain way that you're not supposed to lose much and then after you inject you're not supposed to see much oil if any in the syringe.

Yeah - the amps are about 1-1/4cc but that doesn't explain the other 1/2cc I'm pulling...

My biggest concern here is not my current cycle - it is going to be the prop I'm running every other day for my contest cycle - I don't want to be near the end of my prep and realize I'm running too low etc....

I knew the vial wouldn't last the entire 10ml dose it was planned for but 4-5 shots short???

Anyways - I'm using Lion's pins - what type are you talking about......

          Maybe I'm missing something. 1 1/4cc(amp) plus 1/2 cc(vial) = 1 3/4 cc, right?

Doh - I meant to put 1-1/8 (it's JUST over the 1cc mark depending on what I leave in the amp due to using an 18g to draw it out) - my bad - what a dork...

So I ran out of Deca...

Last night I pulled just a little over 1cc of test from the amp and when I pushed it in the needle to inject etc it only showed about 5/8cc which means I was pulling about 3/4cc of Deca instead of just a half - wtf....

LMAO - my problem is that when I draw from a vial (to the 1/2cc mark) I'm really getting about 3/4cc which is a BIG difference IMO and I'm just trying to figure out how to compensate for it :D...

I guess the answer is to just pull out 1/4cc to 1/2cc less than what I need (e.g., pull out 1/4cc from the vial according to the syringe markings to actually get 1/2cc)....
