  • HCG - as weight loss supplement

I was told that Human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) could be used as a weight loss supplement and I'd like to know if this is true. I talked to my boyfriend, GearTripper, and he can't figure out how it could be used as a weight loss supplement. Let me know your thoughts on this.

Maybe your thinking of HGH (HUMAN GROWTH HORMONE) it has fat burning effect.

If anything hcg will put pounds on you. It'll raise your test and estrogen levels.

Yea, that's pretty much what my boyfriend was saying but he mentioned that I should come here and ask just the same. It was definitely hCG and not HGH. She was from a local business trying to sell me weekly injections that would take off weight. This girl claimed to have gone from a size 22 to a 14. Crazy, I know. You'd think she might have done something by around a size 10 which is considerred obease.

Yes it can and will work if used at 125-200 IU's/day and a very restricted diet. This is the old Dr Simeons diet.

Yes - this method has been around since the 60's/70's - I'm not exactly sure how well it works but it has been used before - I read an article about weight loss the other day and it had a few paragraphs about this method (legit article with decent references etc) - I just can't recall where I read it :(

From what I've read you have to be on a very low calorie diet and the results seem fairly minimal. There was a lot of emphasis on increased mood stability/overall well feeling/less irritability from the endorphins in the HCG....

                  hgh spot reduction

I am new to this. I am 53 and doing 2iu hg 5 days 2 off and 1 cc test week. I am looking to lose fat and get it up. I may up the test after a blood check on the next cycle. My question is there any benefit of using the hg every other day instead of 5 on 2 off? Also does the hg promote localized fat reduction in the area where it is injected?
                  Your feed back is appriciated

Hgh does not spot reduce. And technically, you don't really want to pin it in an area that is high in fat. Fat will slow the absorbtion. I believe the 5 on 2 off is the general consensus to keep the gh levels stable during that 5 on period, the 2 off to help your body to keep generating it's own endogenous levels of gh and not to become total suppressed by the intake of exogenous gh.

there are much better ways to lose weight than HCG

my question is who was selling this and did she inform you you would need a script? I dont think anyone would give a script for weighloss with HCG - or was this woman a UG source?

It's actually an oral form of HCG. Dr. Simeons has some "medical spa" that used it as a weight loss program. I think it's called Releana (the pill).
