I know that proviron can be used to prevent estrogen induced gyno and that it also has an effect on lowering SHBG levels thus making testosterone more effective in building muscle. My question is, does it have any effect on blocking progesterone induced gyno? I cant seem to find a clear answer on this exact question.

no proviron wont help with progestron gyno. and it is a very week anti-e but like you have in your other post there are more benefits than just a mild anti-E.Originally posted by THE BOUNCERI know that proviron can be used to prevent estrogen induced gyno and that it also has an effect on lowering SHBG levels thus making testosterone more effective in building muscle. Proviron is also a serm. So technically, it just binds to the receptors before your body's natural estrogen does. Therefore, your natural estrogen is still floating around in your body. That will be enough for progesterone to rear it's ugly head.

I dont think it does. I've found no research to report that it does.

If there is no extra estrogen roaming free.....expression of the progesterone receptor can not accrue
