As it turns out steroids can not be tested by a hair follicle test. :bravonew:

I had to take a HFT a week ago, and got the results back a few days a go. It came back negative and I finally got the job.

Yes, but only if they are actually testing for steroids. If it's for employment, then they are only testing for rec drugs and not roids. Roid tests are very expensive and I don't think they are on most employers banned lists.

I think you're good for firefighter. Only one I think that does is police officers.

Anyone have any idea as to the military drug testing policy? And how long do anabolic drugs stay in your system so that they can still find them in a test?

I'm a cop and I don't get tested for roids. We only get a 10panel drug test for recreation drugs. The cheapest steroid test is a 29 panel. And it isn't specific for steroids just test and other bullshit.

Do they drug test you after you've been in a shooting? And if so, is the juice on the list?

I know a cop that was given a polygraph test as part of the interview and was asked if he ever took steroids before. He failed and didn't get the job. He competed a couple times in the past and used only for those occasions.

He was pretty sure going into the interview this was going to happen so he was reading articles on how to beat the test. Guess it didn't work for him. :D

I know some natural BB shows also use polygraph tests. A friend of mine who is natural had this done before too.

Polygraph is a required part of the hiring process when you apply to be a cop. They don't really hold that much ground though cause you can fail certain questions and the agency can still pass you on the grounds the polygraphs aren't 100% accurate.
