    I am considering doing my first run with slin but as with everything else I am researching the hell out of it first. I have read posts here and elsewhere on what kinds of carbs to take and when, but I wanted to get some input on specific brands, or even just what to look for in carb suppliments (specifically related to use with slin). If someone with some experience could shed some light on this ( what they've used & liked etc.) I would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance!

    As far as post-workout shakes go, I love N Large 2 along with about 10 grams of creatine with a slin shot. Then about an hour and a half later a clean meal consisting of chicken and rice or something along those lines.

      depending on the type of slin you use and wether you go IM or SubQ, will vary the time it is absorbed, changing how you should eat, IM shots are taken in faster than SQ, I usually go Sub-Q, I try to eat around 100grams of carbs post workout sith slin then another 100 grams around an hour later, usually some kind of drink first then some solid food for the second meal with solid protein.

        I use a carbo force drink, and a protein shake for right after my slin shot, then I eat a meal like chicken and rice about 1 hour later.

        Your using Humalog for your first run right???

          Althoug pricey, vitargo from nutrex works well with humalog

            I make my shake at home. 3 scoops Cyto-Pro 12oz CranApple Juice 10g Creatine.

              Thanks for the replies. I am going to use either humalog or humulin-r. I am leaning towards humalog (it just depends on what I can get).
              I have a mix for complex carbs, but I understand you need simple carbs (10gms/ i.u.) post sub q inject right? Is there a mix for just simple carbs (sorry if I am beating a dead horse with this question, I just want to approach this very intelligently)? Thanks you guys for your help on this!

                Any type of juice will be fine bro. Apple or anything like that.

                      Go with the Humalog bro, quicker acting, and out of your system faster, which makes it safer, especially for a first time user.
