  • Noobie questions about Testosterone Cypionate 200mg/ml

    Background: I'm 35 yrs, 6'0", 215lbs, male. I've done one cycle before this one and back then it was Winstrol, which I took orally and that was over 6 months ago. This time it's Testosterone Cypionate at a concentration of 200mg/ml and I'm injecting it. I'm doing 1.0 ml twice a week. I have two bottles each containing 10ml. I have some 1" pins for my quads and some 1.5" for my glutes. It's the first time I've injected. I only started this week and have taken two doses so far. I'm not taking anything else (i.e. no other steroids, no anti-E, clomid etc). I use a new needle each time. I've stopped drinking alcohol until I've finished the cycle.

    Diet. At the moment, a typical day's eating looks like this:
    7am Half a cup of oatmeal with a scoop of protein isolate, fat burner pills, one heaped teaspoon of ground flaxseed, 700ml water
    10am protein shake with half a banana, 700 ml water
    1pm chicken salad with two chicken breasts, 700 ml water
    4pm protein shake with half a banana, 700 ml water
    5.30pm pre-workout creatine drink
    6pm post-workout shake with frozen berries and glutamine
    6.30pm meal with at least 30 grams protein usually grilled chicken with yams or potatos as carbs and lots of veg like spinach, brocolli, carrots, 700ml water
    9.30pm 200ml cottage cheese with cinnamon, 2 tablespoons peanut butter, 700 ml water, glutamine.

    Questions:
    1. What should I be doing when I come off? How can I keep the weight on that I've gained? What exactly is a Post-Cycle Therapy?
    2. The injection site gets a bit sore, like I've bruised my leg. Is this normal?
    3. What sides should I look out for and should I have anything on hand to combat the sides? If yes, what?
    4. What happens if you don't aspirate? What are the dangers? How do you aspirate, exactly? What else should I look out for when injecting? Hitting a nerve?
    5. Do you think the amount is correct for a newbie? If I did 1.0 ml every three days rather than twice a week, is that too much?
    6. What are the syptoms of doing too much?
    7. Is it worth getting my liver checked at my level and with the dosages I'm doing?
    8. How much weight can I expect to gain after a cycle of 20ml? (General ballpark figure 5lbs, 10lbs, 50lbs)
    9. I've got a medical exam coming up for my entry visa into Canada. They'll be testing for HIV (which I don't have). I assume Test cypionate is detectable but do you have to do specific tests in order to find it? In other words, I'm trying to guage what the chances are of being discovered if the medical exam involves a blood test. Do you have to be looking for it in order to find it or will it show up if you're looking for narcotics, HIV? How long is it detectable for?

    I'm grateful for any advice.

    1. when (if) you come off you will need to reduce your frequency and volume of training...obviously exogenous hormones increase our ability of what we can not noramlly do. you can keep the weight you have gained (if it is muscle)...the water will shed so you will have some inevitable loss. I don't think you will need a PCT at all but that is just me....when you come off eat extra clean and healthy and then gradually work back into a "natural" routine.
    2. yes shots sites will be sore the first times around even if the compounds are painless. its natural.
    3. first timers find out if they are acne prone usually. I can't think of to many external sides that you would need to worry about.
    4. if you don't aspirate you could mainline gear into a vein...though I can tell you I have aspirated and still got some in a nicked vein. honestly you will never mainline as long as you stay in safe inject spots. but always be careful, it feels like your chest is gonna collapse when you get oil in your blood until it clears, not fun :).
    5. 400mg per week is perfect..my first cycle ever was 250mg of sust per week and I still poured on the weight (ahhh miss those days).
    6. no such thing as to much uless your liver is tanked :)....just kidding...you would have to be taking crazy amounts of shit to hurt yourself seriously (that is a general statement, there are always exceptions but we never know who they are).
    7. bloodwork is always a good thing but you would see to much difference with 400mg of test IMO
    8. weight gain depends on your goal, if you eat like a pig, lots of weight, if you want lean weight and have a good diet plan than I would say 10 pounds would rock if it was almost water free (cuz you can never cut the water till the cycle is done but you can minimize it).
    9. well canada is a bunch of pussies so they might want to make sure you won't make them look bad by having any muscle :D...J/K...no they won't check for it. I would ball park Test Cyp detection around 4 months (I think).

      bro that was to long of a post for me right now i got tired after your diet plan. everything you said brfore your diet is right. your diet on the other hand sucks, no offence. you have only 2 meals with real food and 4 meals with a shake maybe switch thoes around. i didnt read questions 1-9 yet i will later tonight when im not so lazy. but im sure stonecold has the right info for ya.

          While I agree with what Lmg has said, I do not relay his tone. You have obviously done some research prior to the cycle and things seem to be going smoothly.

          Best of luck and if you have any other questions please dont hesitate to ask. I would recommend you do some further research on PCT, side effects of anabolics, and how to combat these sides if they occur.

            the anwser to all those questions and diet is gonna be pretty hard to take in in 10 to 12 weeks....an the anwsers are gonna turn into questions again. so bro you should research those issuse,so you can start a base for those questions if you no what im sayin.....good luck!

                  I myself would also add some solid food in the place of at least 1-2 shakes.
