  • nolva or arimidex

I am looking to do everything I can to prevent gyno. I will already have nolva for my pct. Can I run a low dose of nolva during cycle to prevent gyno? Or should I just go with something like arimidex during my cycle to prevent gyno. Which AI is better to run to prevent gyno?

Nolvadex is not an AI (Aromatase inhibitor) it is a SERM (Selective Estrogen Receptor Modulator).

As the name implies nolvadex only blocks the actions of estrogen on certain receptors such as the receptors in the breast.

Arimidex is an AI. It prevents estrogen from ever building up in the first place.

Both will prevent gyno. Nolvadex works best when you have already developed some gyno and need to get rid of it. Arimidex works best to prevent it from ever happening.

      i agree.
why are you looking to block estrogen? do you have a history of gyno?

I think the biggest question here is what are you running and for how long etc? Nolva can't be used with some compounds so please lay out your cycle plans...

Thank for the info guys. Sounds like arimidex is the way to go. I'll save the nolva for the pct. I don't know if I am gyno prone, but I just wanted to be sure that i know what to do in case of emergency. This will be my first cycle so I am trying to learn all I can.
