I got a staph infection on my knee from grappling and I need some antibiotics asap, I can go to mex tommorow and buy some to treat this, but my question is, is it legal to cross antibiotics from mexico to usa without a prescription?

lol sucks being taxed for booze. Well, Im broke as hell cant afford an doctors visit here (no insurance), probably going to see one in mexico and show them the infection and ask what to take for staph.

edit, also a guy I used to train with got staph, so im going to ask him what was prescribed to him.

I wouldn't. The type of staph that is going around right now is resistant to all antibiotics. You may only make it worse by allowing it to get stronger by trying to zap it with some weak antibiotic from Mexico. Do a google search on MSRA and you'll see what i'm talking about.

You should keep it clean, keep an eye on it for a day or two and if it gets worse, go see your doctor.

got some antibiotics and spoke to a friend that had staph as well, he basically told me what to get and if it doesnt help then see a doctor. However been on the antibiotics and it appears to be almost gone since I treated it quickly before it got out of hand.

suck it up bro, go to the doctor and get some cypro or tequin or even something as light as keflex. It may cost you maybe $22-$40 for a script here in the states.
