  • for those who do cardio in the morning

    on or off AAS,do you eat before you do cardio? i assume those trying to bulk probably dont do cardio,but for those trying to cut,food or no food pre cardio in the early morning??

    No food for me. No carbs. Glycogen levels are somewhat lower in the mornings before a meal. You don't want to add carbs as your fuel rather than having your body dip into the fat storages for fuel. Eat after you run.

            I myself have to have a few carbs in me...I do my cardio in the am not so much to lose optimum weight, its just the only time I have to do it. usually its just a vitamin water (just a few sips, I drink the rest after my run).

              I say do cardio 1st thing in the morning on EMPTY stomach. I do NO cardio during bulking.

                If I'm just looking to lean up but keep muscle (not contest type diet) I will have 40g of whey mixed with water about an hour before am cardio just to keep from losing when I'm not "on" etc...

                  You can look at many different boards, this is a highly debated topic and everyone has their own opinion. You will hear so many different opinions it will make your head spin. My advice to you is to try both, see what works better for your. Personally I am a no food right when i wake up do cardio person, but thats just me. Find out what's best for you and go with it. Your body will tell you what's best.
