Well by that pic of coleman, even I can see he looks like he is still weeks out from being on stage.
nice gyno too ehh..
it was sad to see coleman. he almost started crying before he talked. i have all the respect in the world for him and Coleman at his best was an unstoppable monster. his time is over now though. i hope Cutler dosent continue to be given gifts either. i want bodybuilding to come back the way it was. guys like this need to be placed higher. look at the waist on this guy.
Wolf did look great. Congrats to JAY C. again for 2 wins in a row but better look out for VIC MARTINEZ,,also,,, RONNIE looked way off this time. Totally different physique.
Even though jay was not in the best shape, out of the top 3 he is the one who fits the title, as far as being good for the sport, thats why he won, look at victor with his crimminal history, their not gona choose him over jay to be the face of bodybuilding. I think Dennis should have won but he's not american is he...its all bullshit
agreed. i can't help but look at arnold and compare everyone to how he looked. i don't know if that is because i am such a big fan of him or because i dont fully understand the sport as well as others. all i can say is that ronnie and jay didn't look nearly as good as i think they should have.

Arnold's legs didnt match his upper body. with that said, i wish bodybuilding would go back to the way it was in the 70's.

see, i was only thinking about the upper body which was clearly a mistake. even so, i don't get the look of the upper bodies today. they're simply massive, but they don't look nearly as good as people like arnold and franco. i feel like their torsos are larger and it makes them look worse...i dont know. that reads like im talking out of my ass.

no i agree, wouldn't you agree that the guy in post #79 in this thread is what bodybuilding should be?
i don't have a problem with guys being 300lbs on stage. as long as they can do it a keep the symmetry etc. most cannot. with GH, IGH, SLIN, mega doses of AAS, the only thing these guys seem to be getting bigger is their bellys.

oh, i totally think the guy in 79 looks awesome.
i was going to say i thought that some of the guys today rely too heavily on aas because it shows in their mid sections. i've never seen a 300lb man that looks as good as the older bodybuilders...imo.

agreed. i think your opinion is pretty telling actually. you don't follow bodybuilding very much but you know right away the look that you like. it is kind of like food, you don't need to be an expert to know that you like certain foods. i think your opinion is what the general public thinks as well as 90% of the bodybuilding community also. people see a pic of arnold and say, "i want to look like that." people see a pic of Coleman and say "eww". thus the reason the IFBB is failing. Arnold is the only guy that can bring bodybuilding back, if he took over the IFBB after he is governor, we just may have a shot at seeing the golden era of bodybuilding return.
