So I have been off for a month and a half now. Got my first comment today at the gym, "I can tell that you are off" the guy says. Made me want to go cry in the corner. This sucks!

ya, he didn't say it with bad intentions at all, he just had no clue what that comment would do to my mind.Originally posted by FitnessBratFunny how the Average Joe doesn't realize "Looks like you've lost some weight" or "you look thinner than the last time I saw you" is NOT a compliment to a BB.
You'll be okay :baby:
it sucks because i actually look pretty damn good at home with my clothes off. better then when i was on the test because i am super lean right now and with the test out of the picture i am not holding any water either. the problem is that i look smaller in clothes now then i did 2 months ago. so when i am in the gym wearing baggy shirts, all anyone can see is me shrinking. this blows.

My disclaimer is that I don't mean to be creepy when I say this:
Its too bad you guys don't post up pics of yourselves while on vs. off. I'm never really certain if someone is on steroids or not at the gym so I don't know what kind of results to expect using them. I know many pro bb use them, but I don't want to get that big. And the guys that I suspect use them at the gym, I would never dare ask out right...

Of course - most people don't have bad intention. Family members, friends, they all do it because they don't know.
Don't worry about it - you know what you look like underneath the clothes and you don't need to impress anyone else anyway.

You're not going to look like Jay Cutler - no worries. Have you looked through the Members Pics? There are lots of people that have posted in there. :)

there used to be a great thread with picture of pro's while they were "off". let me tell you, they looked like absolute shit. it goes to show just how much some of those guys depend on drugs.Originally posted by NewbieChrisMy disclaimer is that I don't mean to be creepy when I say this:

not that this pic really proves anything or that the changes of being "on" VS "off" is this drastic but this can give you some idea..
First Pic is Arnold during competition season. (Scene from pumping Iron.)

Second Pic was shot about 2-3 months after the filming of pumping Iron had finished. (Arnold had to do a "body of art" posing thing to raise money for the movie to be published etc..)

As you can see, the changes are pretty drastic. Now keep in mind, he probably stopped training and eating well etc between those 2 pics..Last edited by Bouncer; 10-11-07, 12:41 PM.

well, like i said, it looks like he stopped training, eating, etc. but still, in such a short time frame he changed drastically. i guess my point in posting it was that these things combined can change the body very fast and it can go away very fast.Originally posted by radoCrazy how AS can make you look...And then when you come off:woot:

Yep you are right B, my last show was in july 21st this only about three months after and even tho I am only nine pounds off my show weight I look nothing like I did in July. But I have posted many pictures of mine :DOriginally posted by THE BOUNCERwell, like i said, it looks like he stopped training, eating, etc. but still, in such a short time frame he changed drastically. i guess my point in posting it was that these things combined can change the body very fast and it can go away very fast.
And B...don't worry bro you gonna be okay. :D
If I am lean enough I actually like the smaller look when I put my shirt on because I know under that baggy shirt I am shreded and that is the look that not many people have, and when I take my shirt of I look bigger than the guys who weighs 30lbs more than me but all fat and bulked up. hehehe! :nerdnew:
