Well, no need to get all huffy about it.. Seriously, you asked a question, and opinions were given.. I'm 28, been training 12 years, never pinned yet helped guys who did in college.. So what?

Yes, there are guys with your stats who know nothing about training and diet the right way.. I didn't say you didn't I just said I won't until my priorities are squared away..

You said you had a trainer, yes? He should be working with you on that aspect, brother.. :)

Well Ilike getting huffy! :D I know how to diet to get lean, but I want to be beyond lean, so I guess I will talk to my trainer. I need to start dieting the right way, I want a damn 15 pack! ;)

I know I get mad when I hear something negative about me, but thats me. Nothing personal bro, im just like that.

I guess the only way to get LEAN lean, is to find out what works for yourself and have a trainer to help you that extra bit. I never even tried to get lean because im naturally pretty lean, but its time to get shreaded!!!!!

          No harm, no foul... :)

Try balancing your calories, you'll have to drop carbs pretty low, yet increasing your fat/protein intake.. If you supplement with healthy fats like CLA/EPO/Olive oil/Flax oil, you'll maintain lean mass easily.. Eat plenty of lean meats like beef, turkey, chicken, fish.. Change your carb-types, like instead of white potato, eat sweet potato or yam, brown rice, oatmeal, all slow GI carbs..

I do this when I cut for a show, helps bring out the 29" waist.. :)

I think I love you. Thanks bro, thats EXACTLY what I was looking for. The more I learn from different people the better.

Questions: 1. What do you mean by balancing my carbs?

            2. Increase my fat intake? Yikes! Do you mean only the
healthy fats that you suggested? Thats for energy right?

Thanks, those are my only questions. Your a big help.

              1. Balancing your carbs, as in regulating when and how many you have a day.. Best time for carbs is in the morning after cardio, then pre/post workout with an equal amout of protein.. I use Lean Mass Matrix mrp's for this, since it's a blend of 40g each carb/protein, and the carbs are oats and brown rice, no malto..

              2. Yes, increase with the healthy fats I mentioned.. Here's an example of how you could incorporate them into your diet:

              Meal 1- 2g CLA

Meal 2- 1 table spoon olive oil

              Meal 3- 2g CLA w/ 1g EPO

Meal 4- 1 tablespoon flax oil

              Meal 5- 1g EPO w/ 1 tablespoon olive oil

Meal 6- 1 tablespoon flax oil

Of course, you can just take these doses with your meals, makes it easier to take since flax can taste rather "interesting".. Evening Primrose Oil (EPO) has plenty of Gamma - Linolenic Acid, good for lowering bad lipoproteins, and flax/olive oil have high omega fats in them..

At your size, don't drop your carbs any lower than 150g, unless you simply can't lose another pound.. Any lower, you might flatten out.. I can get away with cutting and eating 80g carbs a day, I'm small.. :)
