they didnt really take over, he quit and they stole the name. There are some good UG labs left, the key is stick with the ones that have been around a while, they are in it for the long haul so its not in their best interest to screw with their products as there rep is everything. Its the new labs that keep popping up everyday that I dont trust

There are certainly a few good ones out there...the key is to do your homework on the net and find recent test results that have been posted.

not going to get into a big discussion on that but he did not quit voluntarily; he was thinking of selling it up and moving on but it did not happen that way. . .I was not involved myself, but I am aquainted with a few that took parts or were involved and he went thru a few tough times before he decided to move away. . .I don't know him personally but I am good friends with a few people that know him very well. He was a straight up guy and I feel bad that he had to go thru a few things that he did before they "took over" . . .

I never did say that he quit voluntarily. the same assholes that tried to swipe the name are the ones that forced him out. Sucks as you are right, he was a stand up guy and the products were awesome.
Those same asshole were threatening me for months because I refused to promote their products on the net

yeah, I don't know those guys personally but I do know a few that were involved with them. . .definitely not what our building community needs; people not even slightly related to the lifting world and with only profiteering as the motivation.

exactly, not too bright either. they ask me to promote their shit as I am so well known, I say no so they threaten my life...If someone has that much influence, then its not a good idea to piss them off either, so I took it to the boards and fucked them out of ever selling any gear on the net
