  • Frozen Gear

I left a few bottles in the cold too long and they are pretty much frozen solid...Are these trash now or can I thaw them out and still use?

Many kinds of drugs are frozen for extended storage. Oil based hormones are stored at room temperature as they do not benefit from being stored at lower temperatures. Cottonseed oil is the most commonly used suspension. Some substances may precipitate out of oil in response to time, light exposure or temperature, and may or may not suspend properly back into the solution. Precipitated solution is pretty obvious - you have "floaters" and/or cloudy stuff instead of a nice clear oil.

If your solution looks clear once it is warmed up, it is probably good. If you have maintained clean procedures for using the vial (wiping the rubber stopper religiously with a cleaning solution and using only new sterile needles to withdraw solution) then it's at least sterile and will not be likely to cause you harm.

What was it kingj? Gear usually doesn't freeze solid like that with the oil and BA in it.

What's the suspension medium? If it's oil and it turned into a thick gel which warms up into a clear, evenly suspended, non precipitated solution, the drug should not be affected.

It's not easy to accurately determine WTF is going on in this particular situation without using accurate medical terminology. If the OP doesn't know what a suspension is or what precipitated solution is, he's got no business messing with homebrew.

Yep, and I was talking to the op in a language I am sure he understands perfectly well if he's the maker of the homebrew. I doubt anyone *could* make homebrew and not be familiar with the terms suspension and precipitation.
