  • Simple recovery?

    I plan on running 250mg a week of test cyp after we get pregnant. My research is starting with a different view on using test. I am simply using it to help with recovery and not for mass building. Is there any different advice to my goals versus a mass building goal?


    To elaborate, I can't go more than a couple days (riding my bike to work on Mon and Tues) of exercise before it wipes me out until the weekend. My body has declined in health and I am trying to change that.

    when was your last cycle? do you think you are not producing enough test for your body? I don't know how it would affect endurance but it would give you more recovery for sure and keep your body running on all cylinders. so are you saying you can't build up endurance or is it more of a mind set thing where you feel tired/depressed?

      I was last on in the summer of '06. I just can't physically push myself as hard as I need too.

        but there is a difference between the mental and physical. do you just not feel "up" to it. or do you just feel totally spent AFTER the exercise. I know its a tough distinction but do you say you have a week off, do you have a tough time motivating to do SOMETHING?

          We only have one car and I have to ride my bike to work. I am physically spent and have to go in early 2-3 days a week so I can still work. I am tired when working but I know I could never do it all day if I rode every day. I am literally on my feet walking all day. Beyond that I need to be exercising even more because a clean diet and the physical work I am doing is not enough to keep my body from turning to shit.

            hmmm, yeah then I would guess some maintenance test would help you. I would almost think just some proviron (or masteron would be enough for you) to free up some bound test and up your levels a bit but. Test would be surefire from what you describe. (cuz it sounds like when I was clean and not producing enough).

              im sort of in the same situation. clean diet ect.. but because of my job right now im only hitiin the gym 2-3 days a week keeping my workouts light/mod. im not tryin to build any muscle mass, just tryin to maintain what iv have for the next 4-5 months.even playin around with my diet im wiped out by friday.

                i think you are giving proviron a little to much credit there. proviron would help with recovery about as much at a candy bar. lol

                  well it works for me so I gave it to him as an option. his goal is to raise his test levels so I gave him some options.

                    the sounds odd bro! is the bike ride far? how old are you? most important question when was the last time you had blood work done? It "sounds" more like you are not sleeping enough. Sleep is very important. Im gonna guess your levels are fine, especialy since you have been off for 2 years. Monitor your sleeping patern for a couple of days.

                        way back when I was trying to conceive kids, I had gone off for six months...I was using proviron for normalcy and sperm count and I felt good. then when I ran out my body just tanked so I am pretty sure the proviron was keeping me "normal" plus I can use a whole lot less test and get the same results for me.

                              are we using the term "recovery" in the same context? he is not talking about recovering hormonally. he is talking about recovering from exercise. if his goal is to increase his test count then proviron would do that to an extent. I was just giving him a mild option if he didn't want to gear up. but shooting test will accomplish the same thing.
