  • What was your experience with clomid

I am taking it as part of my PCT following a couple of weeks of hcg and letro. I've heard before about unusual sides making you feel like crying and I have to say it seems to make me a bit emotional, not angry, just more sensitive to the things people say etc

    Anyone else?

I'm planning to use one maybe two boxes and thats it

i dont see a need for clomid really. nolvadex does everything clomid does but better. nolv comes with less sides.

I'm not sure that my experiences were "typical" because EVERY single time I have come off of AAS and used clomid I have gone through some pretty serious life changing events - I don't know if I could honestly say that the mood swings came from the clomid alone or from the overwhelming circumstances I kept finding myself in BUT I will say this - without clomid I have NEVER been as emotional/sad/depressed as when I used it despite going through other rough patches when not using it in PCT....

so your saying clomid helped or didn't help you. that last sentence is kind of confusing.

Sorry about that - clomid made me EVEN MORE of a mess considering the circumstances...

I've had two rounds of PCT without clomid and was still going through a lot of personal sh*t but I handled it much better since I was just using hcg/nolva - hope that makes more sense....

Fertility bro, not saying I have a problem but thats why I chose clomid over nolva.

I'm staying off AAS for a good 6-12 months now and after that plan on starting some things:P:evil:

nolvadex works in the same way that clomid does. anything that clomid does for fertility, so to would nolv.

nolvadex works the same way clomid does, it is something within the clomid structure that actually gives estrogenic properties-->thats why you feel moody/emotional

I've never felt moody or anything on Clomid...

my understanding is that Nolva supresses Estrogen while you wait for your body to start producing test again while Clomid works actively on your hpta axis to bring back natty test production more quickly. Am I wrong?

yes, you are wrong. nolvadex does not suppress estrogen. it simply blocks it from acting on certain sites like the receptor in the breast. nolvadex also works actively on the hpta.

while we are at it, arimidex and letro have also been shown to work on the hpta. in fact, arimidex aka liquidex has been used in studies as a form of testosterone replacement in men with low test levels. thats how well it works.

there is also some issue with clomid and vision. nolvadex is the way to go IMO.
