  • Man sentenced for selling steroids over Internet

    Associated Press - May 10, 2008 5:54 AM ET

MISSOULA, Mont. (AP) - The husband of a Missoula police officer who pleaded guilty to selling steroids over the Internet has been sentenced to five years probation and six months house arrest.

Dana Fiscus pleaded guilty in January to conspiracy to make and sell steroids as well as money laundering. His 61-year-old stepfather -- Jimmy Jones -- pleaded guilty to the same charges and was sentenced to five years probation Thursday.

Jones and Fiscus were accused of receiving bulk steroids from China, processing and packaging them into small quantities in Missoula and selling them over the Internet. Money exchanged hands through wire transfers and cashier's checks.
