  • Endocrinologist ?

I've been fighting with my PCP to get my natural test levels up to the "norm" for about 6 months now. I've been using Androgel and getting about 300 mg's of test once a month.

The androgel is crap. I applied it every day for about 2 months with no shots and my levels did not raise any at all. My base line was around 120. I'm not sure what the 120 is, but I was told normal is 300-800 range.

I setup an appointment with an Endocrinologist, but I could not get in until 8-18-08. Over a 2 month wait. Anyhow, I was placed on a list to substitute in case there was a cancellation. I got a call the other day and was told I could go yesterday.

I went in and saw the Endo. She wants to figure out WHY my test levels have went down. I do not have a baseline from when they were up. I was there over 2.5 hrs. The nurse was an overweight smartass bitch that shouldn't even be a nurse. I was drilled with a hundred questions asking all about my history and me. I lied some. I was asked if I ever took any supplements and I told her Androsteine back in the day when it was legal, but not abusive way. I told her that I primarily just drink whey protein shakes and lift heavy.

Anyhow, she ordered all kinds of blood work. I fasted this morning and went and had 7 tubes of blood drawn. When these tests are done, you can bet that I'm getting a copy. The lab is only 6 blocks from my work.

She told me that she wanted to see me in 3 months. My jaw about hit the floor and I said that my test levels are low and I feel like crap. I asked her if I was supposed to stay low for another 3 months. By now, the 2.5 hrs had wore me pretty thin. I told her that I feel 10 times better when I get a shot, but it only lasts 2 weeks MAX when getting 1 shot a month.

She said she'd know more after the test results come back. 3 freaking months. I've got 2cc's of Test Cyp from the pharmacy the other day.

What I'm thinking of doing is middle of next week, start a little Testosterone.

After I get the results from the tests, is there anything I can take that can have benefit without taking test or is your test levels always effected by AAS?

I have access to Deca, Tren, but mostly test.

Just thinking and needed to vent a little bit.

    Thanks.

    Knox

I'll post test result levels when I get them.

why are you doing this I don't understand?

do you want to come off AAS perminently and get your test levels as good as they can naturally, if so your loking at 9 months after any aas are out of your system, asuming there is no HPTA problem.

Otherwise if your just looking for script chems for perminent use, why not just bet them black market.

Or are you trying to get your lady pregnant and you are really looking for fertility?

I don't follow, but if you explain it will help us answer better

I've cycled AAS for the past 7 years.

I've been off everything for about 8 months now. I can't get my natural levels back up, naturally. Did the whole HCG, nolvadex, clomid route, no luck. Tried androgel and test shots from PCP, no luck.

What I have deduced is that I have permaneantly supressed my natural test production. So what i want to do is be able to cycle on AAS with black market gear, but in between cycles, I want to be able to take prescription Test to get me up to a "natural" level. When on AAS, just stock pile the clean scripted gear.

Any clearer now or are you still seeing mud?

doesn't seem worth it to me to go threw all that shit when you can just stick with black market gear in the first place.

I think you have three months or more to run HRT once a week with your black market gear or the pharma stuff. Quite feeling like crap I know how low or no test feels it is not fun. You and your family will be happier. Remember this is just what I think I am full of crap.

Hmmmmm... That's one way to look at it. Using the drug store and insurance is a easier and cheaper route to go. I paid 8 bucks for 2 CC's of human grade test cyp the other day. I would like to see myself get a refillable script for that with unlimited refills every 30 days for a year.

I'm sorry but if you're genuinely looking to bring your natural test levels back - or at least get them to the point you don't need to *use* test then you have no business running test - either work with the endocronologist to prescribe your therapy or stick with using "self-diagnosed" gear the rest of your life - you can't really do both - having bloodwork for legitimate HRT one month with follow up visits to come intermittent with using test on your own isn't getting you anywhere - IMO you need to choose one or the other....

your probably right and don't forget, your 7 years older now, right?

However you probably still have some natural correction to come, eight months isn't long enough to definately say thats all your getting.

Otherwise, what faghat said, your getting confused about getting your natty test up by cesession of aas and pct and using androgel/script cypionate. The later option is basically no different than cycling black market product, it will supress your natty test the same.

                  Your in the same boat as the rest of us my friend, so you either;

                  1) cycle and have periods off
                  2) stay off perminent and live with it
                  3) adopt a maintanance dose or dose that gets you where you want to be and stay on one compound or switch up to a limited number of different options. Then if you have a fertility problem, get the clomid/nolva etc in until the job is done and go back on.

                            Here's an update......

Went to the endo a while back. She's just puzzled why my test levels would be so low. They pulled 7 vials of blood to run all kinds of blood work on me. Other than the test levels being low, everything came back normal.

So, she wanted to get me an MRI of my pituitary gland. I said okay... I went for that last Friday. I got stuck for the contrast dye, got slid in the MRI and then the lady said there was a problem. The nurse said that I have metal lodged in my eyes.

I went down to x-ray and had some films taken of my eyes and the radiologist said there is no way in hell that I'm having an MRI done or I would most likely go blind when it is sucked out by the MRI.

How I got metal in my eyes or a better question, when, puzzles me. I grew up and still live on a farm. I am very mechanically inclined, always building things, welding, grinding, the whole bit. Most likely it is from that and not wearing safety glasses at some time.

I had to have done it when I was young b/c I am really careful about making sure i have safety glasses on now. 1.5 yr ago I had LASIK surgery done and they never said a peep about it. I would have thought they would have seen something.

I have a CT scan scheduled for next week. I'm going to follow through with it just because I've went this far with it.

Hey Bouncer -- Update on the shoulder. I'm back doing 225 for reps now on bench press. I was using the 60# dumbells on the flat bench as well. I'm impressed for only being 3.5 months after major shoulder surgery. No pain, getting stronger, slowly but surely.

you are wasting your time with all the games, with the MRI, CT scan etc.. etc.. you know damn well why your test levels are low. lol. just tell her to give you HRT and shutup. :P

as for the metal in your eyes, no doubt it was the grinding/welding.
