To be honest I agree with BLM, aas have limited use in fighting, good for recovery perhaps but since the sport has moved on its noticeable that all the heavily muscled guys tire quicker. The broblem with growing big muscles in fighting is that they push you into a higher weight category than your body type is designed for and those big muscles require more oxygen.

Your far better off being lean and strong and fit with great cardio. I'm currently only spectating at BJJ due to torn ligaments in the foot. But when I roll as they say in sparing at the end of sessions, I regularly get tooled by smaller/lighter guys, I'm just practicing but the point is, that strength advantage I have over them only lasts so long and when your gassed fro straining your easy pickings. Top level fighters don't use alot of gas and muscle its all fluid flowing turns and moves and strikes. So the point is aas doesn't make you a better fighter.

The best guy is fedor right? does he look juiced? hell no

doesn't mean some of them don't try it though

I was actually looking at it from the sports commission aspect. UFC claims they test the hell out of their fighters and I would beleive it for the most part strictly based on the fact that even though it is a mainstream sport now it is still heavily scrutinized because of it's "barbaric and galdiator" type of sport.

BLM i see your point, but in a sport that is so demanding, I can't see guys not taking every opportunity to heal and perform their best.

Mr. I; not all steroid/gh users get massive. You can clearly use gear to help you recover from injury, etc. In fact, look at the guys that are getting popped, other than Sherk, they are unremarkable in their physiques.

Yeah I said that pretty much, their use is limited, good for recovery perhaps

I don't disagree that there are guys that take it, but to insinuate that all of them do isn't realistic, imo. Especially when they use guys like Sherk and Gracie as examples that regardless of your reutation or record you're still subject to get tested.

This comes straight for a guy that fights in the UFC. If you use steroids you will probably get caught. He says they are on you like glue. Do you ever notice the guys in the ring that stand next to the fighter while they are getting introduced? He says right after your fight they grab your hand and walk you to get tested. along with getting tested at weigh ins and other randoms times.
                            He says everyone uses GH.
Pride was full of users with no tests. So if you ever watched a pride even you watched juiced fighters.

I always figured Liddell used it. He had that evolving gh gut. It's really noticable in his photos promoting the upcoming R. Evans fight.
