    coversion oil ?

    quick question. Its been a few years since ive home brewewd . I'v always used cotton seed oil...some one sent me soy oil a few years back, now oil is oil right ? a long as its 100% pure filtered shouldn't make a difference right?

    Should I pass this oil through a filter seeing its been sitting around for a few years ? I don't know if rubber stoppers still break down without alcohol in the subtance.

    Yes and no..... You can use the soy oil as long as it's 100% pure yes but oil viscosities are different and I'm not too sure about soy but I think it may be thicker then you want... I myself always use grapeseed oil as it is a nice thin oil....

    You could pass it through a filter but it isn't necessary as long as it is 100% pure... Like you mentioned... without any solvent the stoppers won't break down or anything...

      other than being hard to push trough a pin, does oil viscosity have any effect on the process?

        grapeseed is the best oil imo . thin and very good for you :)

          it shouldnt but heavy viscosity will be harder for your body to absorb . could make for painful inject sights

          grab some grapeseed bro -- all around much better
