  • Cycle is going well...

When I joined up here I was talking about my first cycle since I have come back to bodybuilding after losing my way over 2 years ago.... Well I started the cycle about 3 weeks ago and things are going well. Muscle memory is definitely playing a part but my arms are almost 1 inch larger since I last measured them about a week before I started my cycle so 4 weeks and 1 inch added to my arms. I lost most of the hard earned muscle I used to have while I was out of the gym for 2 years but it seems to be coming back pretty quick so I am really happy about that!

I am keeping it simple for my first cycle back even tho I have lots of cycle experience in the past it has been a long time so I new I wouldn't need much to grow....

    I am on:

    Dbol 40mg/day weeks 1 - 4
    Sustanon 500mg/week weeks 1 - 12

I am up about 8 or 9 lbs in 3 weeks as well and can see my abs better then when I started somehow... lol And I'm only 5'5" so it looks like I added 15 lbs

Bouncer; I am doing things as smart as possible and everything is in order right now. I have never been so focused with my bodybuilding and I am hoping over the next year that I will be able to slingshot past where I was previously stuck before I fell off from bodybuilding... I might compete this time around as well but we will see.

Rado; When I fell off from bodybuilding I was doing a blast and cruise type of cycle which I'm sure you are familiar with.... So I was running test as a base, low dose during cruise and then up to around 900 - 1000mg during my blast. During the blast I would add another compound or two then after 8 - 10 weeks switch compounds or cruise for a bit... Since I was doing it this way I must have been technically on cycle for a couple years or more... Maybe 3.... Before that my longest cycle was probably 6 months or so.. I have tried a lot of combinations of drugs and many different ways of running them.... Mind you I always get my blood work done and have so far never caused myself any serious long term sides...

Damn bro 3 years ON something. Thats a long time, longest I was on was around 6 months and the last 1-2 months I dont even think it had any effect on me.

Side question do you think our receptors go bad after long periods on gear?
I feel they do but this is just a feeling I have never researched it, or read anything about it.

I don't think our receptors go bad or stale or anything, I think it's just a matter of upping the dosage and changing compounds to keep changing things up....

Are you familiar with blast and cruise type cycling?? It's not really the same as being on for 3 years..... I would be on just low dose test for my cruise periods so it would just be like HRT and would be just enough to make sure I didn't lose any muscle before blasting again... And the blast and cruise method was working and still producing results for me up until when I fell off from bodybuilding.... I will consider doing blast and cruise again in the future if I do compete...

problem with cycles like that is you get bored. you stop even feeling like you are running anything and the excitement goes away.

I can agree that you don't get that new cycle feel the same when you are doing blast and cruise cycling but if done properly it does keep working or at least in my experience....

Yes im familiar with blast and cruise.... But to me IMO it is still "ON" anything that keeps you shut down I consider "ON"

If your gonna compete I see nutting wrong with that but for everyday "wanna be" bodybuilders like myself and 99% of the rest I dont think that is a good idea.

Ya I consider it technically "ON" too and wouldn't recommend it for most people... I myself admit at the time I didn't need to be using the blast and cruise method since I wasn't competing but I did it anyway.... Will save it this time until I compete and if I don't I will prob. give myself a break for real now and then
