I thought I saw in a previous thread that we could mention how to make our own stuff, so I hope I don't get in trouble for asking. I am trying to make test c and I am wondering do I need to make it with cotton seed oil, or sesame oil? The sesame oil seems awfully thick and I just want to make sure I make it right.

Ok cool, that's what I thought. If I do use a filter, what size do I use? I have a whatman 0.45. After I got done filtering it (which took forever) it set up like cold bacon grease. Is that because the sesame oil I used was not usp grade?Originally posted by beefcake View PostYou can use sesame oil, just make sure it's usp grade and not something you bought off the shelf at a store, unless you're willing to filter it all. I like grapeseed oil the best.

Sesamie oil works just fine. I have always heard a .22 um sterile filter works better and a .45 doesn't catch everything. I like to be on the safe side of things. I wouldn't use anything that looks like bacon grease. If it looks like that I would question your source. With that being said I've never brewed cypionate before and always heard it was a bitch. Test E on the other hand is cake.

You filtered the oil? Or did you filter the oil after it was mixed with the cypionate? Post your entire procedure you went through so I know where you're at. Either or, the product should not look like cold bacon grease.Originally posted by mormonmuscle View PostOk cool, that's what I thought. If I do use a filter, what size do I use? if it looks like cold bacon grease then it crashed....
Grapeseed oil is the best oil to use.... A .45 whatman is fine for filtering and what ratio of BA and BB are you using and what mg/ml are you making it at??
Cyp will hold at up to about 300mg/ml if you use 2%Ba and 22%BB, it also helps if you filter while it is still a bit warm and then bake it at 225 degrees afterwards to make sure it won't crash later.... Cyp is a bit finicky at higher dosages and can be made with less trouble and no baking if you make it 250mg/ml instead...

1. Weigh out 5 grams of test cOriginally posted by beefcake View PostYou filtered the oil? Or did you filter the oil after it was mixed with the cypionate? Post your entire procedure you went through so I know where you're at. Either or, the product should not look like cold bacon grease.
2. Place powder in vial
3. Add 1 ml 5% Benzyl Alcohol to the vial
4. Heat 15.25 ml sesame oil at 275 degrees just to make sure it's sterile.
5. Add oil to the vial, shake gently.
6. Heat mixture if necessary by placing in a frying pan and heating on a stove.
7. Draw out solution with an 18 guage needle attached to a whatman filter. I used a .45 filter, cuz I wasn't told what to use.
That's what I did. The sesame oil I used was from a store so it wasn't usp grade. Again I didn't know. It was thick and I sat there for over an hour just trying to draw it through the filter and still only got 5 ml. Then when it sat there for another 20 minutes it looked like cold bacon grease, so I had to throw it all away.
I'm also told that with this recipe it should make 20ml. at 250 mg/ml.

i left it on the stove for about 4 minutes and i left the solution in the vial and then put the vials in a pan and then heated it on a stove. so all in all do you think the stuff got thick because i didnt use usp sesame oil?Originally posted by beefcake View PostHow long did you leave it on the stove? Did you keep it in the vial and put it in the pan, or did you fry the whole solution in the pan? Usually you should heat it by putting it in hot water.

Usp grade wouldn't make a difference, just means the oil is sterile. It sounds like it crashed. Try heating it up over a low heat a little bit and it should redissolve. Cyp is notorious for crashing.Originally posted by mormonmuscle View Posti left it on the stove for about 4 minutes and i left the solution in the vial and then put the vials in a pan and then heated it on a stove. so all in all do you think the stuff got thick because i didnt use usp sesame oil?

Does my recipe seem legit? Is there anything else I can do to make it not crash so easily?Originally posted by beefcake View PostUsp grade wouldn't make a difference, just means the oil is sterile. Recipe seems fine, but probably good idea to add 20% benzyl benzoate next time. Seems to make to hold better. Enanthate doesn't seem to need it but cyp seems to. Could also depend on the quality of the powder you're using. U can add some bb and drop the concentration down to 200mg/ml and see if that helps.Originally posted by mormonmuscle View PostDoes my recipe seem legit?
