  • Feelin a Strain

Everything is set in place from my cycle to diet to post cycle.

Here is my deal, I switched my food plan up last week and just feel like I am missing something. I first noticed it in my arm workout last week. Then I went bowling yesterday and was feeling wierd strains in my thighs and my arms have been buggin me with a lil strain type feeling. Was to start geer today but was wanting to know if I should let my body adjust more to my change in food intake before I jump on??

I posted my diet in nutrition section but can post here if you are interested. I take fish oil / potassium / magnesium supplements as well..

I have lost about 15 pounds in last month or so from eating better / cardio / overall just cutting pop and shit food....

I drink a lil over a gallon of water a day..

    any thoughts?

If you're very low on your carbs, you could be a bit dehydrated in spite of drinking a ton of water. Cabs 'attract' water...a lack of them can mean the water is getting right through you without enough of it sticking around to re-hydrate your tissues. Try increasing your carbs a bit and see if that fixes the problem after a couple of days.

thanks man.... I picked up some glutamine yesterday and started in on it. I worked bench on Mon and to be honest, couldn't finish cause of the strain my arms where under... Call me a puss, but damn, thought they where gonna break. I understand it is my new food layout, just tryin to figure it out.

I narrowed it to two diffrent issues I think it may be. Last week I started to do one body part a day, so maybe body is under some stress with almost double amount of time in gym... OR it could be I went totally clean last Wed on my food intake... I eat 6 times a day now, instead of fast food ramp ups...

I feel better and am down 15 pounds over 6 weeks

Start cycle Tuesday (off gym day)

      thanks for input.....

When you say strain do you mean muscle strain (injury) or are you running out of gas during workouts.

I did bench on monday... I am doin 6-8 reps at 3 sets... on decline, my first movement, My bicep muscle was strainin fierce, I was on the 3rd rep and I dang near dropped it on me.. It kinda felt like fatigue, but I had the whole weekend off. So, I upped carbs (another baked potato and a bit more rice a day) and yesterday went in and did workout on biceps I hit that feeling but plowed through it and it diminished.

I hit gym again tomorrow with back so we will see how it does...

Plus I picked up some animal paks, I think taht should help!!!

its just your body getting used to strain.

make sure you are well hydrated and throw in a day or 2 extra off from the gym. take hot showers and use ice on place that hurt.
