Lets assume for this argument that we are talking about an IM AS. What would happen to your body or the drug if you didn't put it IM and instead Sub Q, intradermal or something like that. A situation would be if a person for some reason used too short of a needle or went at a weird angle that missed the muscle. Granted you would probably know if you did that, but just what if...

so what if you messed up an injection and injected sub-q by accident in your shoulder or something or are you saying you inject sub-q on purpose somewhere like your abs...?? I would have to say that the shot you did that way would not be as effective especially if it's an oil because they aren't made for taking sub-q and won't be absorbed properly... Thats just my opinion tho..
As fa as transdermal goes, that is much different then sub-q and it is no where near as effective as injecting IM.. I think the absorbtion is something like 25% as good as if the substance was injected...

Pretty much yes.... Some of it will still reach your blood stream but not as much...Originally posted by Shibby View PostTo answer your first question, either scenario would work but you got the point. So mostly it has to do with absorption and not much of anything else?
Bouncer; maybe the absorbtion sub-q of a water based would be better at first but as the water and hormone seperated the hormone would crystalize leaving you with a pretty sore injection site I would imagine and the crystalized hormone would not be absorbed very well I wouldn't think... I know this can happen no matter where you inject water based products but I think it would be quite a bit worse when injecting it sub-q because it would be absorbe more slowly...
